Had the Chile Verde omelet and my mom had bacon and eggs. Both were delicious! The server, Kim, did an excellent job, especially... since she was the only server. The restaurant got busy and she handled it with no issues. No complaints either from anyone inthe place! It's been a while since I've been here and everything was great! Read more

We did delivery and one meal came with a biscuit and gravy but they left out the gravy. Another meal came with a muffin and... potatoes and left off both. The sirloin steak was burnt and on top of all that we found a hair in the eggs. Won?t be orderingagain. Read more

Whenever I drive from LA to SF I plan my departure time so that I can be here for breakfast. It?s almost three hours into my... drive but totally worth it. Great service and amazing food. Last time I tried the home made corned beef hash which is my newfavorite! (I hardly ever have cash with me but they have a 4% cash discount) Read more

I have to honestly say this restaurant had the best breakfast I've had in a long time. I had the blte, with the eggs on the... side, it also came with a side of fruit. One of my friends had the oatmeal and the other one had the french toast with eggs andbacon. The bacon on my sandwich was cooked perfectly crispy. No raw floppy ends, and my 2 eggs over medium was also cookedperfectly. No brown edges over cooked eggs. Will definitely come back next time I'm in town visiting. Read more

First and last time for the Village Cafe. My husband loves corned beef and orders it most times we eat out for breakfast. The... corned beef served here looked like something from a dog food can. My husband said he thought it had been watered down or hadsomething else added because there was very little corned beef flavor. I tasted it and agreed, maybe the cook dumped in thepotato water or something else to stretch the meat, there wasn't much in the way of potatoes in it. It certainly did not tastelike brisket. I asked the waitress what the corned beef was made of and she said they cooked the brisket themselves. Does thislook like brisket? I said it didn't look like brisket and she said that the cook grinds it up and maybe she should tellcustomers that before they order. I doubt that we were the first to complain. My husband ate the eggs and some potatoes but verylittle of the corned beef. The waitress said the owner does not allow adjustments on the check. The picture is what he leftuneaten. Disgusting. Kids menu was... decent, also if breakfast burritos are your thing, cowboy breakfast burrito is a MUST. Central location is perfect to stop bywhen strolling through the AG village.
