This is the second time I?ve visited Smokin? Jake?s in the winter for their bottomless bowl of soup and once again I was not... disappointed! For an incredible price they had 10 homemade soups to choose from (though I only had enough room for 4!). Thewaitress was very nice and it was the perfect lunch on a cold day! Read more

Came past peak dinner hour, but only had one high top table option unless sitting at the bar. If you are 65+ climbing on tall... chairs might be a challenge. Delicious Hawaiian pizza, service a bit slower than hoped, but there was a "help wanted" sign as wecame in. Waitress did a good job under these conditions. Check it out! Read more

Staff including Linda, the manager, were super rude. Spilled a whole cup of sauce on my husband, with no apology or assist to... clean it up. They were so rude, that they incited the ?locals? to start a fight with us. We are two couples in their 50?s withno need to fight. I would avoid this place at all costs!!!! Worst experience I?ve ever had in my life. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!!!!! Read more

As we have been trying new places each time we are up here we decided on Smokin Jake's for lunch. My wife ordered the smoked... turkey sandwich with goulash soup, our six year old "Shorty the Foodie" had the same but with fries, and I ordered the ribsampler with cole slaw. My wife and daughter said the turkey was really good, my wife really likes the goulash soup as well. Itried a bite and agreed that the soup was excellent. The ribs were cooked very well and were tender, the BBQ sauce had a tangybut very good flavor and the Cole slaw is homemade. The sauce and bell peppers in the slaw were different but my wife and Iagree very well done, in fact we are getting a side of slaw to go. The service was excellent, our waiter did a great job and wewere very happy overall. We will definitely eat here again as they have a dinner menu we want to try. Shorty the Foodie gave itfive aces. 1st time in, awesome food. Rib pale was delicious. Almost didn't use the bbq dipping sauce but decided to try it. Fantastic. ... Complimented the meat. Little pale of onion rings cooked just right. Corn nuggets were awesome as well. Definitely coming backwhen in the area. Hats off to Jakes!!!! Read more

We waited well over an hour for our food. I understand the wait due to the fact it is a Friday night. But people that were... seated an hour after we arrived got their food and we still have to wait an hour. No apologies at all. First and definitely lasttime here Read more

Charming bar, great smell walking in on a Saturday afternoon. Was initially concerned based on other lower reviews. However,... our service was prompt and the food came out quickly and was hot. I had the French Dip and it tasted great and the Au Jus wasamazing. For my side I did the Chicken Wild Rice soup; it was hearty and seasoned well. I would definitely eat here again. Read more

Kind of a small sports bar feel, but without all the TV?s, which is nice. There?s at least one or 2, but it?s minimal. Almost... always have good luck here. Most the time if there are issues, it?s due to it being busy, and a bit out of their control. Foodhas always been very good, no matter what we order. I?m a fan of their smoked brisket and would recommend, but again, so far, everything has been good. Their loaded baked potato soup, which is a house regular, is also very good, and I?d recommend aswell. They have a jalapeño ketchup to use with the steak fries if you desire. It?s minimal in spice. Sounds scarier than it is,but gives it a little zip. Try a little and see what you think before going big on it. Read more
