Plenty of seating, there's a kiosk at the front to place your order with detailed instructions and the staff are available if... you need help. One kiosk is cash or debit the other is credit. My daughter ordered a hamburger with fries and a banana milkshake! I ordered the garlic butter double stack burger with onion rings and a Dr. Pepper. It was a little pricey but it was inwalking distance from our hotel so totally worth not having to get back in the car to search for food! Enjoy! Read more

Food was ok. Fries were very salty but my family enjoyed everything else that was ordered
The Arnold steak and shake has gone down hill big time. There was only 2 tables with customers at 6pm on a Friday. The Chilli... hardly had any beans or meat in it. One of our cheese burgers had hair in it an the fries were barly warm. Our shakes weregreat. Service is none existent. You place your order at a kiosk and you go pick it up when they call your number. Sure missthe pre covid steak and shake days. Read more
I was going to dine in but the place had an unpleasant odor and looked in need of a good wipe down. The place is self service... kiosk, the kiosk asks if you want to tip, give me a break. The food overall was below average, should have fought the crowd atChikfila. Read more
I?m sure it will take time to change some things with the new system. I used to like grilled onions on my melt but the system... didn?t have that option, I probably could have requested it apart from the order. But overall the system was much better there.Steak ?n shake has been known for overworking their employees. My twin sister used to work at one and I sent her pictures of thenew look and she said it looks much better. I do think they should have the option for an employee to take the order too, butoverall much better than waiting for an overworked waitress. Before they were required to seat people, take orders, fill drinksetc? make the shakes and cash out. The drive thru was responsible for taking orders, making orders, making shakes and cashingout people inside as well. It wasn?t a great system. I was craving steak n? shake one evening while in the St. Louis area. As I was driving south, I saw one on the Google map but... realized it closed at 10pm and it was 1030pm. I saw on my Google map that I passed one about 10min ago that was open untilmidnight. My need for a tasty burger and shake overcame the desire to ?stay the course?. I turned around and drove back? After ashort wait in the drive-thru, I was met with a smile and happy candor. I received my order and went on my way, so much happier Inow had that tasty burger, unique fries and yummy shake. My large Coke was the size of Mount Everest and I would probably gointo a sugar coma if I drank the whole thing. Great food and service! Read more
