Always make it a point (ha, see what I did there?) to stop by when I'm in the area. Typically I like to be adventurous and try... new options, but at The Point I'm straight up here for the tenderloin skewers. It doesn't really get more maryland than freshcorn, tomatoes, lump crab, and beef skewers - and this meal never disappoints! For the record, I have tried other options andeverything is always fresh and local where possible. Great atmosphere, gorgeous views, and delicious food. Can't go wrong! Read more

I have eaten here more than a dozen times and I have always enjoyed the fresh and tasty foods they serve. A must order for... appetizers is the crab dip and old bay chicken wings. During the summer months they offer soft shell crab sandwich which is on abrioche bun and very flavorful and a good taste of a (Maryland) cuisine. The salmon and risotto is cooked just right and veryflavorful. The atmosphere holds it own and is very peaceful. It does get loud in peak times so if you want things a littlequieter ask for a table outside. Read more

I will go out of my way to enjoy a beautiful waterfront meal, and the view at The Pointe Marina was exactly that. I also... couldn?t complain about the meal and helpful service. However, ? i hate to ever rate the service industry with less than 3 starsbut this was well below the bar. While the view is nice, I placed my family?s name on the waiting list on their Yelp page for aparty of 8, 2 hours in advance and called 1 hour prior to confirm that we would be still be seated around the same time. Wearrived to the restaurant within the window we were given between 6:30 - 6:45 and weren?t seated until 7:30. I understand awaiting list is pending the existing guests have left their tables, but having to wait an entire three hours to be seated isunacceptable. Estimates should definitely be given to allow for a cushion for this but to quote a group an hour off is veryinconsiderate of both people?s time AND appetite! Secondly, in my phone call i was specific in requesting an outdoor table as Iwas bringing my newborn and felt more comfortable not having her in the crowd and was assured we would have an outdoor table. ?Yet we were seated in a loud, obnoxiously crowded indoor area where we could barely hear the person next to us. Lastly?. to topit all off, they were out of crab. Bummer. All in all, so much of a place like this is the overall experience. While ourwaitress was sweet, the ambiance is far from pleasurable and you can?t expect any aspect of reliability. 1/5 Read more

I were given a gift card for my medical school graduation. It was a great date night for my wife and I! The food was amazing! My... only complaint was that it was a little loud (not unbearable, just not ideal) Great atmosphere and right on the water. Read more
