Very good Chinese restaurant. Food was well cooked, not overdone. Portions were not too too large. Rather dark inside. Service... was very good. Very nice people waited on me. Read more

I've been patronizing David Chen for many years. Mostly have had lunches there, when the place is almost empty. A dinner... recently was disappointing to say the least. Noisy, poor service, so-so food. Dishes came before we were finished with whatwas in front of us. The waiters were unpleasant - and that went for the entire experience. I'll stick to lunches from now on. Read more

Food generally was good. Service was poor - only two servers to handle the entire dining room. We were never greeted when we... entered - only asked what our take out order was. Restaurant needs to decide whether they are a take out restaurant or a dine inrestaurant. Questionable whether we will return. Read more

I went to this restaurant thinking that the food was going to be really good, because it's in Armonk, NY. Man was in for a... surprise the food tasted like some of the Chinese restaurants in the bronx and they aren't very good. I traveled 29 miles fromthe bronx to taste mediocre at best chinese food...I will never come back here again, my food was trash and that's putting itnicely. Read more

Update: Well, seems a different chef from years ago when i didn't enjoy the food. As an Asian descent, I know good Asian... food. I am really so hungry and have no time to go to my go to Chinese place so I ventured back to David Chen to give it a try. I am glad I did. Their beef chow mei fun is spot on. And for Armonk, price is reasonable. Humongous serving size too plussoup included. Important to mention , it's not swimming in oil . Highly recommended. Previous post- 5 star for overallexperience. I ordered my favorite chicken pan fried noodle and though taste isn't exactly I was used to , I enjoyed it a lot. Also, the size was humongous. Price was very reasonable. I was served tea with the biggest tea pitcher and ambiance wasnice... like the traditional Chinese restaurant with big chandelier. Both owner and staff were very nice. Highly recommended. Read more

David Chen?s Chinese restaurant is the most delicious Chinese restaurant in Westchester County! They are fast and efficient,... always prompt and courteous. Their food is so good they impress my whole family who are used to authentic Chinese food. Thatsaid, this restaurant is truly an authentic restaurant with food that makes the mouth water and although it can get a bitexpensive, it?s worth every dollar. Just writing this makes me think of spring rolls and sesame chicken. Definitely highlyrecommended! I?d try the chicken wings, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, spring rolls, and anything else you?re open to! Read more

They almost charged us for an extra entree we didn?t order. Then when I was eating my chicken I found a piece of aluminum foil... in the breading. Took it back, owner didn?t say much about it. Pretty bad look. Read more
