Board room is a great spot to do trivia on Tuesday nights. It attracts a big crowd so get there early. Was slightly less... enthused by the board games available. They?re in rough shape, damaged, missing pieces, etc. Bring your own if you?re looking toplay there. Food is standard pub fare, beer is good. I haven?t had the same problems with service that a lot of other reviewershave had Read more

Cool concept..I could see myself and friends having a solid game night or catching a band. Plenty of space for all. Beertenders... were awesome. Real people real talk. Fun. Helpful. The beers were on point. Nothing i tried tasted unbalanced or off.. Read more

Great food and atmosphere. Lots of free board games to borrow and play with friends. Made it for trivia night which was a blast.... A few taps were out but the beer that was available was good. I especially liked the Kismet Kölsch. Read more

They have a happy hour M-F from 4-7 where you can get a $5 beer if it?s one they brew themselves which is great bargain! The... place is much bigger than the location in DC, possibly has more games, and doesn?t charge for the games either (at least at thetime i went there). Overall great experience! Read more

Absolute worst bartender I've ever interacted with. She acted like she had 20 different people hounding her for orders when... really it was just me and 2 of my friends waiting at the bar. It's like she's never interacted with another living personbefore. Absolutely rude and messed up my order. I ordered a Salmon burger and an appetizer, but she only charged me the burger. She then went ahead and charged me for the burger and the appetizer on another transaction, so now I got charged twice for myburger. Why not just charge me for the appetizer only on the second transaction? I should've known better to get food else whereafter asking her the first time around for beer. I asked her "what do you recommend on tap?" I got an unfriendly response of"Just scan the QR code." Luckily, the guy at the bar was nice enough to give a friendly suggestion, or I would've justleft. The people that gather there are great and they create a an awesome atmosphere, but the actual establishment andemployees were a shame. Don't recommend this place, and they definitely lost my business for sure. Here is a recommendation tothe owner, find some people to man your bar that actually have social skills. Read more

The Board Room is more of a hang out restaurant than a board game cafe. This place seems to be very popular with college... students The food is very good and the service was very attentive. There is a large area of dining space indoors and a fairamount of outside dining tables as well. Parking is available at a nearby garage ($10 for >2 hours) but there is street sideparking in the neighborhood after 7pm. The board games were very lacking. They have multiple copies of the most popular games(sequence, Monopoly, ticket to ride) but overall the selection was low. It is a $2 charge to play games. While there is amplelighting during the day, the restaurant needs more lighting at night. It's very dark when you are trying to play boardgames. They have shuffleboard and darts. Read more
