Excellent food & service. The summer rolls were a big hit, as well as the Wonton soup, chicken with noodles and beef/shrimp with... broccoli. The kids loved their mango & pineapple bubble teas too. Everyone working there was extremely kind, friendly andhelpful. Even went out of their way to provide a special sauce for my daughter who doesn?t like a lot of spice, and gave me onethat was very spicy. Enjoyed dinner there! Read more

First experiencing this local place in my neighborhood and it was tasty. Loved the decor and especially the fish tanks on the... tvs. Food - got pho and some summer rolls. Both were tasty and fresh. Service- prompt and professional. I wasn?t sure about thecheck part but eventually we saw another couple go to the cashier to get the check. Overall I would recommend this place. Read more

I went here for lunch and had a pretty disappointing experience. After my server took my order, he never came by to refill my... water or provide a drink menu. I ordered the grilled pork and shrimp, wanting something that wasn't covered in grease, but to mydismay, the pork and shrimp were extremely greasy. I did enjoy the pork, but it took quite a bit of siracha for me to enjoy it.When I was done, I had to get up and ask my server for my check. I would have understood this more if the restaurant was full, but there were barely any customers. I'm giving this restaurant two stars because of the terrible service. I would like to tryit out again at some point, hopefully they will improve. Read more

The food tasted great. I ordered the ?grilled pork and crispy roll w/rice? platter and it was delicious. The pork was juicy, the... egg roll had a good filling and fried to a perfect crisp, and the take out order was ready 10 minutes before the estimated time.I wouldn?t recommend coming here for pho, especially when the place across the street has much lower prices for that. However, when it comes to other dishes besides pho, this place is a pretty good option. The menu prices are steep, but so is everywhereelse in the area ? this was the most expensive grilled pork with rice I?ve ever had ($17) but at least it tasted amazing so itwasn?t a regretful decision. Honestly, I have pretty mixed feelings about Saigon. I still appreciate that they have a vegetarian pho option, which Saigon's... highly popular counterpart across the street lacks, but their vegetable and tofu pho is honestly one of the only advantages thatSaigon has over the other Vietnamese restaurants in the area. The vegetarian pho broth is pretty lacking in flavor, butthankfully everything can be fixed with a bottle of sriracha and hoisin sauce. They provided an average serving of fried tofu, but the tofu was a bit dry despite being submerged in the broth, but I couldn't tell if it was because the tofu was overcookedor had been left to sit out for too long. The veggies were a bit overcooked, but I appreciated that they were quite plentiful. One thing that Saigon does have that other nearby Vietnamese restaurants lack, though, is traditional Vietnamese fare aside frombanh mi and pho. One of the friends that I came here with ordered their fried tilapia platter, and he was pleasantly surprisedby how authentic and delicious their take on this traditional dish was! I certainly appreciate Saigon, and it makes me sad tosee how empty the restaurant is every time I visit, but the quality of their pho really can't compare to the many otherVietnamese spots in the D.C. / NoVA area. I'll still come here out of convenience (and because Pho 75 still can't accommodate mydietary restrictions), but if I have access to a car or am truly craving great pho, I'll probably opt for another location.
