As man can not live on Chinese food alone, as much as I would like to, I searched for a sandwich or submarine sandwich place. ... Sadly, in my area, there are a lot of places but they had a LOT of mixed reviews and it is hard to tell which ones are good andwhich ones are bad. So I picked Mom's Pizza and ordered one Veggie Sub which, according to the menu online, was lettuce,tomato, and mayonnaise. It also had oil and vinegar which I love. It came with chips (you know the same bag of chips everyplace tosses in) and a pickle. I ordered it hot. And I also ordered a appetizer of potato skins with sour cream. It took justover 45 minutes to get to me. Not too bad. It came with napkins and crackers. Weird but okay. The potato skins were waxytasting and the sour cream was sour cream. To be honest kind of normal for delivery potato skins. So not too bad. The picklewas a pickle spear. Boo! The chips were the normal bag of chips. Okay. And the veggie sub...was mostly black olives with oneslice of tomato sliced into TWO pieces - one for each part of the sub. So more like 10% of a small tomato. It had been toastedbut was cold by the time it got to me and was soaked from the black olives. There was no oil and vinegar added. And I thinkthere was mayo but I don't remember tasting it. And the lettuce was tasteless and limp. The whole sandwich was tasteless andlimp and fell apart whenever I tried to pick it up. It felt like I was eating a sandwich from a store that had been made a weekago. The crackers were nice. Helped get the taste of black olives out of my mouth. I hate black olives. I can handle a few ina sandwich but they made up 40% of the sub. This was more of a black olive and limp lettuce sub. I paid over 20 dollars forthis? Disappointed. Will likely not reorder. Read more
