Tl/dr: great coffee, great breakfast taco, great service from Angel! My Wife and I were waking around Clarendon and saw this... coffee place. It turned out to be part of Mexicali Blues that?s now a coffee bar. We popped in and Angel made a couple DELISHlattes !! He even poured my wife a Bunny. Very cool! Awesome Experience and Amazing Service! Just when I thought the service was great they just kept one upping themselves. Came... in and sat down outside for HH got our chips and order taken pretty quickly. Even got to modify one of the margs to have 2jalapeño slices in it for a little spice. Margs and nachos were amazing. Another server also brought our dog a little waterbowl which was really sweet. After that the manager (I think?) came out later with a bandana for our dog and told us about adrink special that went till 7pm. Just when we thought HH was over we found out about another drink special! She brought us asample of the drink and ofc it was amazing so we ordered a round. She then came back out to take some pics of our dog which wasreally nice of her. Overall just awesome service, staff, vibes, drinks, and food. Could not recommend this place enough. Went for a late lunch/snack and drinks. The servers were really kind and treated us well. It was a scorcher of a day and the... front part of the restaurant was very warm, but the bar part was much cooler. They had outdoor seating but today?s sun was notfriendly. The chips and salsa were good as was the house margarita and sangria. I ordered a glass of sprite to make my sangria abit sweeter but it was club soda and the machine was broken so there was that. The tacos we ordered were chorizo and carnitasand they were very tasty. We were going to order a quesadilla but they took a bit to come back to out table so we decided toleave instead. One of the better deals on food in the area, we got the burritos and a coconut mojito that was on point. Food tasted great and... the servers and staff were very friendly. It was also open late (we got there around 930 pm) and the kitchen was still in fullswing. Overall, good food for good prices. Highly recommended. Read more
A funky looking restaurant with unique decorations. Unfortunately doesn't extend to the food; we got breakfast burritos and they... were fine. Would eat this if I was starving but probably won't seek it out. Chips were decent but we had a particularly strongcraving for chips at the time. The salsa was kind of watery. Read more
Disappointing lunch. Tasteless chicken and beef fajitas. I fresh vegetables to garnish the fajitas. Waiter who ignores everyone... and disappears for extended periods of time. No refills. Uncomfortable chairs sitting outside. This place could be so muchbetter with just a little effort! Read more
