Ever since we went to the Silver Springs location, we LOVE coming to Kaldis when we are in town for breakfast. The Vegan Italian... sandwich is our favorite and their Nitro Iced Coffee is so smooth tasting. It?s our favorite place to come for coffee, pastries,and breakfast when we are in DC. Utterly delightful place to sit, grab a delicious coffee (even decaf espresso with skim milk is delicious) and some fresh... innovative food. Can even order half or full decaf of any drink and they have many milk options. The loose leaf tea is highquality too, enough for multiple steeps, and you can make your own blends. They do mark gluten free on the menu, so I got theTurkish breakfast bowl and it was packed with fresh and well balanced ingredients. Eggs poached perfectly. Ordering is via aphone (ChowNow) and brought to your table, so there?s no standing around. The atmosphere is great, with a variety of seatingoptions and couches with tables, but it?s obviously popular do you might have to share a couch (they?re long). The coffee, drinks, food, ambiance, and most importantly - customer service- are all exceptional here. Quality is perfect every... time without fail, which is why I always come back. They cater to my dietary restrictions plus they are open later than othercoffee shops around here. If you are looking for a medium loud cafe volumed cafe to do work in, this is the place for you. The vibe and music is on point.... The electrical outlets are scarce to come by. The window seat in the front right corner has a cold draft. The wood chairs arenot as comfortable as I imagined. The breakfast sandwiches and potato home fries were delicious. The coffee was yummy too! Food10/10 stars today. You can order via the QR code on the table and the only interaction I had with staff was when they brought myfood over.
