We have visited Greens N Teff multiple times now and the food was always very delicious and so full of flavour! All of the... dishes, spicy or mild, are wonderful but we especially love the green lentil, beets, cabbage and their Injera bread. It is worthit to make the trip to get their amazing food and to meet the wonderful people behind these incredible dishes! And all of thedishes we ordered are plant based/vegan! Read more
Having dined at many elegant and expensive Ethiopian restaurants all over the world. I am happy yo report that behind this... modest storefront is the best (and healthiest) Ethiopian food I've ever had. The gentleman behind the counter was so friendlyand polite as he suggested what we should try that night. FYI we tried almost everything because the food is so attractivelypriced! I am vegan and was pleased when I found this place on Columbia Pike near where I live. The food here is very good. Even non... vegetarians enjoy the food. It is also nutritious. I was very weak from Covid-19 and this food helped me to get my strength backand fully recover. It doesn?t hurt that the people who cook the food are very friendly. We had the three different lentils. They were also unique and delicious. If I had to pick my favorite it would be the red... lentils they had a little bit of a spice and all we're cooked to perfection. Rather than getting the rice I got the bread andit's taste was a good contrast to the various lentils. I also had the collard greens which were fantastic.
