I know many people who LOVE duck donuts but they definitely aren?t for everyone. The donuts here are made fresh, you get them... while they are still pippin hot, and their flavors are good?so definitely no complaints. However, the donuts here are like cakedonuts which I just personally don?t love (and didn?t realize until I?ve had them). They are much more dense than normal donutsand they taste sweeter to me so overall they felt much heavier. I?m not into them but for those who like cake donuts, this isprobably a great spot for you! We went to Duck Donuts Arlington for the first time and as soon as we walk in the place smell delicious, an very nice Asian... Lady was at the cashier ( May be the owner or manager ) was so nice and helpful. We were going to try out 2 donuts but she wasso sweet we bought 6 for only 2 of us????, the man that was making the donut was so kind too! So we left him a tip too! It waslove at first sight and we ate it right away. Feeling so happy. So this week we came back ordering 12 donuts to give some awayto our neighbors, we meet Tommy and Jenna were working. They were so cute and sweet . they made us old people feel special withold fashion customer service . We live much closer to the King Street location but we feel loyal to the Arlington location sincethey gave us a 5 star service. The people working there are dedicated and take pride in the product, also show how muchthey enjoy their working with a smile when customer comes in. Not a great experience. Within 15 minutes all the toppings melted off the donuts and cooled to the box. It was not possible to... remove a donut from the box without using a spatula or shredding them to pieces with your hand. It was a big mess and a terribleexperience. I had duck donuts a few years ago in Maryland and I remember them being the best donuts ever. How can you go fromthe best to the worst? Gas station donuts are 1000x better. Duck Donuts are synonymous with baking soda after taste. It's anacquired taste. Expect to pay $38 for 2 dozen duck donuts. Alternatively, you can get a package of little debbies for a dollarand dip them in the baking soda in the back of your fridge, it's pretty much the same thing. Read more
We first visited duck donuts at the outer banks about 8 yrs ago. When we heard that they were in Northern Virginia we had to... come again! They did not disappoint. The donuts are unique in that they are more cake like and custard like than a traditionaldonut. They are made fresh to order which means they are nice and warm. They have a taste similar to a funnel cake. I especiallyliked the cinnamon and sugar one. Highly recommend these! Read more
The donuts are freshly made and they taste really good. Their maple bacon is very popular and is the best.
We love this place. Duck Donuts is s hidden gem in Arlington. These are one of the best donuts I?ve had. There is no metro that... goes to this location, so you have to drive but the donuts are worth it. The donuts are big and delicious. There are so manyoptions to choose from. Read more
I was in the mood for pancakes passing through Falls Church and Duck Donuts came to mind. I've seen this location and a couple... others conducting deliveries throughout the DMV but never tried them out until today. My thought led me to the best dang donutsI've ever had! The staff was friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in. I let them know I was a rookie and they let me pickfrom the deliciously vast selection of Donut creations. I grabbed three ( Blueberry, Sunrise, Bacon in the sun) and got busy!The Donuts were cake like and what did I have a taste for? They should have a disclaimer on these donuts they're so good! Read more
