I placed an order and the pickup time set it for the next day. I called that morning to cancel it and the person was in such a... rush they didn't ask for my name. I had to mention my name and order number. I still did not get a refund. I called today andTippy was not much help or understanding of my frustration. He couldn't do anything and said the GM would not be back untilmaybe Monday. I'll follow up then but I'm not a fan of being robbed and told that I don't get my food nor a refund. I'll becertain to let all members of the military to steer clear of this place. I attempted to call the corporate office but like theirrestaurant, you aren't meant to get help by humans. I wish i had read the reviews first. I was on my way to Sweetgreens and passed this place, so figured I would give it a try.... Pretty disappointing for a $16 salad. I personally really like Chopt!! As much as I?ve heard of them? this was my first time trying out Chopt at their newly opened... location, in Ballston. It was very intriguing. I really like how you can order thru a kiosk and ?. voila- -you have it ready foryou. I maybe be oblivious to what the other Chopts? do, so I have nothing to compare it to. Like other recent reviews, sub par. While the greens are green, there appears to be a teaspoon of chicken, avocado, bacon, and a... few Romário's in the Cobb salad. Chopt used to have a more personalized feel; you interacted more with the folks making your salad or bowl, telling them how much... to chop your salad, if you wanted a little or a lot of dressing, salt and pepper, bread, etc. This place was clinically cleanand devoid of any human interaction whatsoever. You could not see your salad being made anymore: everything was done on a screenor your phone. Technology has completely taken over, and if that?s your thing you?ll like it here. It seems to work well fortakeout, but is an utterly sterile environment in which to order and eat lunch. I understand that times change and the way weused to do things has changed as well. But there was nothing about this experience that made me want to return to Chopt in itsnew format, I?m sorry to say. We love the location in Rosslyn so we were excited when we found out a Chopt was coming within walking distance to our home in... Ballston...Maybe should have given it a few weeks or months to become more established before trying a brand new location withbrand new staff. My wrap didn't have any dressing and the cheese was all in the first two bites. They forgot the chicken in myhusband's salad. Our food was very bland because of this. We will be back, but not for a while. In the meantime we'll go theextra distance for our Rosslyn location. Read more
