The staff here are top notch kind and considerate. The aroma fills you with nostalgia for those pastries from your youth. We... tried 3 different pastries and were not disappointed. Why 4 stars? The breakfast sandwich with the amazing icebox bread washuge - so huge that the sausage it came with only filled half the sandwich. Granted, the bread and cheese and egg were more thansatisfying and I woukd order tgose again in a heartbeat. The sausage patty needed to be thinner (exceptionally tough to do) orwider in some capacity. When there was a full bite of sausage, it overpowered the sandwich with strong flavor. Read more
I contacted Best Buns to see if they?d be willing to open early one morning so I could have my favorite breakfast sandwich prior... to going to the hospital to have a baby. Much to my surprise they did! It was just as good as always and I was really impressedby their generosity. Love this place! Read more
This is one of my "Must go to" establishments when I'm traveling to DC/VA! The Willy No Ham Sandwich is delicious and a must... try! The Raisin Pecan Bread is also a must try if you like sweeter breads. Their coffee is always fresh, and they have a goodselection of desserts, breads, soups and sandwiches. Read more
Hands down the red velvet cupcake was the best. It is definitely worth the buy. I also ordered the carrot cake, which was good... too. I anticipated for the cinnamon bun to be the best because of the reviews, but it didn't hold up to my expectations. It wasa bit dry and had a maple syrup after taste. It wasn't my cup of tea. I'm not sure if it was fresh when I picked it up becauseit was dry. Customer service was great. They have plenty of seating indoors. I would come back for the red velvet cake. Read more

Visited this lovely bakery for the first time a few days ago. The staff and bakers were so kind! And there are some really nice... options from sandwiches, sweets, and of course breads. Some of the pastries were quite light in flavor which some may notprefer, but my favorite thing so far has been the fruit Danish. They weren't too sweet and tasted super delicious. Also thechocolate cupcake with cream cheese frosting! Super yum and not heavy or overly sweet. Which is great because you don't feel toostuffed after eating.
