I'll start with the bad: The place is rather big, although it always looks empty. And service is slow even if you're the only... one there. And there are gambling machines in one of the corners, which is a slightly concerning sign. But the food is prettygood, and the prices are reasonable, especially for DC. While there's not much variety, you can grab a good lunch in here. Iwouldn't take a date, but I'd grab a bite after work. Read more
Staff is great, food not so much. Food is lacking in taste from both the south Asian cuisine and middle eastern.
I ordered the lamb kebab. Very small pieces of overcooked lamb. I was the only one there, so no reason to burn it so bad unless... to hide the quality. I will not be back. Read more
Been meaning to try them out as they are locally owned. Called ahead and pickup was easy. The food was amazing. Lamb, rice,... spinach and chickpeas were all amazing and just the right amount of spice. I am a long time customer of Kabob Palace and thisplace is just as good! I actually enjoyed my food. I ordered the $9.99 special . I had to asked the Naan bread they forgot it was included in my order.... I took my order to go because i saw that the location wasn't too appealing , went to eat in the food court. It was great taste Iwas hungry and it was my first time . They gave me also a white sauce. Imagine a leftover food that have been kept out in the open for hours and being sold for $12.99 !!!! and you will know what I... mean. Some might call it stealing. The food is not fresh at all, cold, the rice is crunchy that I could hear the sound of therice breaking in my mouth. I would never come to this place again. The place is dirty and nothing much.
