We had experienced Ricky's before, from Richardson, and if anything, the local Arlington instance is superior, based on my... recent encounter, to the spiritual, transcendence into a new level of heat (pain) appreciation. We ordered various spicelevels, all delivered with zealous precision, a sandwich (The Sando), Tenders, Fireballs, Xtra fries, elote (cream corn) andNuggets. I repeated the torturous experience that is the nugget flight and loved/hated it all over again! Absolutely amazing chicken. I got The Sando with medium heat and it was perfect. The right amount of heat to where you can enjoy... it without suffering. The fries are really good too with a nice crisp. The comeback sauce reminds me a little of Chick-fil-Asauce but with their own twist on it. Their strawberry lemonade is great and taste fresh. Ricky's Hot Chicken is a bit addicting. It's delicious, tasteful, and definitely spicy. I would have given it a 5-star if I had... received more coleslaw on my sandwich because I barely had any on it. I went on a very packed night. The line was long, and thetables were full. I ordered The Sando, Chicken & Waffles, and Bird's Nest with the flavors Hot, XHot, and A-Bomb. I want tostart off by saying that everything was delicious. The Sando could have been perfect if there were more coleslaw--I didn'treceive the same amount as shown in images from Instagram's influencers or on Yelp. The Chicken & Waffle was good--the chickenwas plentiful, but the waffles were a bit on the softer side, which isn't what I'm used to. The Bird's Nest was definitely thebest out of the three. As for as heat levels go, A-Bomb was intolerable, and I absolutely love spice; it's an addicting taste,though. XHot was pretty good, and Hot was decent. New location in Arlington stopped by to see what the hype was about. And I?ll have to say the hype is real. Picked up The Sando... (chicken Sandwich) with the medium heat. The cashier said it was spicy but I will have to return to let him know he was wrong. Iwill try the extra hot next time. Anywho chicken was flavorful, crinkle fries a great complement. I really loved this place, the food was really good and worth the price. The jumbo tenders and fries lived up to their... expectation, and the sauces too. One thing that I didn?t realize until I left is I did not get my other side of mac and cheesethat I ordered, it was too late to mention it to the staff.
