This place is awesome. It has been consistently good for years. Never a disappointment. I've never ordered something here that... isn't delicious. It's all good. Try the Guacamole Mexicano, the Fajita Nachos, and the cheese dip. I LOVE this place. I triedbranching out and trying other Mexican restaurants and I always end up back at Mezcal. It's the best ???? Let me start off by saying that mexican food is not my favorite kind of food, so I am indifferent to the quality of the food;... however, customer service is a pet peeve of mine. We scanned the QR menu at the table to order our food, however, when it wastime to pay for our food, to our surprise the food prices were much higher. I told the manager this and he said their prices hadgone up and they have a new menu which reflect the new prices (which we were never given); I asked him would he honor the pricesthat they STILL have posted and he said "No!" My wife then replied "you have lost a customer" and his response was "I losecustomers all the time, so you're not the first!". Wow! I've just never heard that before in my life. Read more
Ok, so I know most Mexican restaurants seem to be the same, right? Maybe it's just me. El Mezcal had friendly service,... delicious food, great variety of options, and great fresh tortillas chips! The quality of food was mediocre. Nothing special. I do appreciate their social distancing efforts. All employees wore face... masks and I never saw a nose uncovered. If I was looking for mexican in Arlington, I'd consider eating here, but wouldn't go outof my way to eat here. Read more
It's a good local restaurant. We visit frequently because of the convenience. There food is always good and service is also... good. Not the best Mexican food I've ever had, but it's consistently good. I always order the chicken fajitas and will continueto do so. The chicken wings are huge. My dad orders them every time and they're his favorite. He actually orders wings everyrestaurant her goes to and the ones at Mezcal are his favorite. Read more
I got the street tacos (steak) and my mom got the enchilada. They both came with a bean paste with cheese and it was overall a... good meal for around $12 per person. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for a Mexican restaurant in Arlington. Whenwe went at like 3:30pm there was hardly anyone and the staff were friendly. Read more
