Reviews for Noodle Market in Arlington, MA
Food is really good. Price is affordable. Potstickers were the best I have had in a while. Service was so quick.
I would give this place 5 stars but the service is awful. One of the waitresses was very rude when we asked her to switch... tables. She then continued to pressure us about giving her a 15% tip for the second time since we visited last. Read more
Flavorful food, large portions and quick service. Expected more vegetables in certain dishes and noodles to be cooked more.
Service is good, and the environment in this restaurant feels very nice. I ordered the tofu banh mi for takeout which was... excellent. They have a good selection of other vegetarian dishes which I look forward to trying in the future. My banh mi didhave three jalapeno slices originally but the third one fell off the sandwich in the bag. The dishes were completed quickly; ifyou order a sandwich be sure you don't let it sit as the sauce will soak into the bread and make it soggy, but of course thiswas not at the fault of the restaurant. My friends ordered several meat and seafood dishes and they all liked it very much. Irecommend Noodle Market. Read more
Very very disappointed with the service of this place. I ordered food that required they remove the standard chicken and add... tofu instead, since I am a vegetarian. I get food with the chicken removed and no tofu added. When I enquire about it, the ladyat the restaurant argues with me and tells me it is all my fault coz I did not explicitly let her know that is is ok to chargeextra for the tofu. I told her it is fine if she had charged me extra, but I would have liked some protein in my food. But then, she ranted on and on, and said it was my fault even though I gave explicit instructions to substitute the chicken withtofu. Just very disappointed. I am 7 months pregnant and really wanted the extra protein. Instead I got bland food w/o anyprotein charged at full price and an earful from the restaurant about how this whole thing is my fault. Solid noodles and Thai focused dishes in the heart of Arlington center. Good selection of vegetarian choices, also willing to... make anything vegan. Friendly, quick service at lunch with a great lunch menu that included soup/appetizer (small extra charge)and large main dish. I didn?t get a drink, but total was $11.30. Great tastes and value. This place replaced sweet chilli which I was a big fan of, and since I'm writing this after my first visit I cannot but... compare. The place is newer, better laid out/decorared and fresher, that's a plus. The food a bit less impressive (I could be abit bias). Pad Thai was great, but Lemon Grass was a bit blend, your still however getting healthy food here! The service was soso, they were kind and all but could not at times understand my plain English! The food was very good. Their level of spicy is definitely spicy, and has a lot of underlying sweetness to it as well, so if you... are watching sugar, be mindful of certain dishes. The food comes piping hot which is great! The primary employee/waitress upfront was rushing us to order and was not very friendly. When asked about drinks, she told us they didn't have hot coffee anddidn't offer any other options, seemed very much like she wanted us to be rushed out of there. We ended up only getting 3 dishesto speed things up. However the lady that brought the food out to us was very kind and checked in later to see how we enjoyedthe meal. The meals came out quick!! The location is great and the ambiance is nice. There are options for vegetarians which ishelpful, but if you have nut allergies I would definitely clarify those up front. There is a paid parking ????? lot walkingdistance from this location which is really useful. Read more
