Reviews for Gnome Cones in Argyle, TX
Really disappointed. We had planned two birthday parties 3 months ago for our two daughters and we sent out invitations... indicating that we would go to Gnome Cones after dinner at Earl?s. It is my daughter?s 13th and 16th birthdays. We walked overafter dinner with our entire party of 16 people only to find out that this location randomly decided to close for the weekend. I checked their hours online before sending out invites 2 months ago and their posted hours on Google and at the stand indicatedthat they should be open until 9pm tonight. We had to improvise quickly to figure out another plan for our get-together. Wehad planned to hang out in the courtyard and have sno-cones and finish our party outside. Thankfully, Earl?s rescued us byletting us use their outside patio while we scrambled to go next door and buy small ice cream cups from CVS. We were reallyembarrassed. You need to update all of your social media if you decide to close down in the middle of summer. There was noindication that your shop was going to be closed. I just read on another review that you responded by indicating that you arehaving problems with your AC. That?s reasonable. What?s not reasonable is leaving your customers in the dark. Common courtesywould indicate that you leave a sign on the establishment explaining the problems that you are having. You also need to updateGoogle so that people who regularly search Google and read your posted hours there will know that you are closed temporarily. You can mark your business as ?temporarily closed? on Google. Read more
Drove far after checking google. Page said 9 pm but when we arrived at 830 nobody was here. Please Update your hours to note... that hours vary. On the window it?s says 9pm but I guess you don?t honor your hours. Doesn?t take much to be considerate ofyour patrons and their time. My kids were pretty excited only to be disappointed. Read more
What a sweet treat and fun surprise we had on a Sunday afternoon. Thought we would try this place and was pleasantly surprised!... Love the Gnome shaped cones! The cotton candy didn't necessarily taste like the traditional cotton candy, but it was good andnot too sweet. Such a great place to go and just relax and take the dog. He even got his own pupcycle! Makes a very fun outingwith your friends, family and of course your sweet doggo! ??????????? Read more
ADORABLE, themed, all natural snow cone stand. I absolutely LOVE all the gnomes decorating the place, the little hut and the... BBQ place behind it (Bumbershoot BBQ food trailer) with a nice, large seating area and (sometimes) live music. A fun place togo. It makes me smile. BUT I don't really care for the snowcone flavors. Maybe i just haven't tried the right one yet?! Ilove that it's all natural though. This would be a great place to take my grandkids, especially if they are playing live musicat the BBQ place behind it that evening/afternoon! Read more
Ok. We went to youth group at The Well Argyle and I wanted to treat the kids and a visitor. I knew there was a snow cone stand... so we parked and walked over. I was greeted by someone that was super cheerful and eager to help. The flavors are different so Iasked for a sample to ensure I would love it. They provided the sample. I saw the sign saying NO followed buy a list of thingslike artificial colors. I thought ?how can you do a snow cone without colors?? She explained there were colors but its allnatural. My kids love sweets but usually the other stands are icky sweet and end up burning my throat. After one bite I lookedand saw fragments of real fruit that was blended to make my flavor. I loved every bite and at the end wanted more. It tastesamazing but healthy at the same time. I will not dread taking my kids knowing that its so much better than the others. Read more
We had a great time. Im typically a Goblinberry type of person but I was so upset when I tried the wifes Yeti flavor. The... vanilla and the coconut are no joke, they go together so well. I can imagine how good these are on a hot summer day. Im happy wewent to the Argyle location because it has a nice outdoor spot to hangout. Worth the drive. Read more
We loved this cute, little place. They have great flavors and their all natural syrups are hand made daily. I had the green... tea with coconut cream and my husband had the strawberry with fresh cream. Both were delicious. The staff were also reallyfriendly. And if you bring them a gnome (to keep), you get a free gnome cone. Read more
Dropped by here because I was at cvs next door and it was a super hot day. Definitely recommend this place for shaved ice.... Their flavors are all natural. And majority of them seem to be creamy flavors. I got piña colada and it was really good. Therewas a tajin flavor that I missed. I think its a new flavor because they had it on a separate sign. The ice is shaped into agnome hat. So they put some thought into their presentation. (I bit the top off) Only giving it a 4 because I was expecting asnow cone, as in crunchy granules of ice. Gnome cones is shaved ice. Read more
