We held a wedding in their hall. Everyone and everything went fairly well my only very large concern was the hall owner let the... hall be set up for the next users BEFORE we had time to clear our valuables and gifts out. VERY MUCH RECOMMEND not using thishall if they?re not going to be secure in their guests items or respectful of their times agreed to. We had till noon. They hadlet this other group in before we even had time to eat breakfast. I?m reasonable but this is gross oversight and cause forconcern. It gets two stars not one simply based on other factors. We have made the trip from Madison many times and it is well worth it! Our last visit was Sunday; it was extremely busy. We... were told 15 minutes and within that time we were greeted, served water and had our order taken. At least three people stoppedby throughout out meal to make certain that our expectations were met - they were and then some. Our meal was warm, fresh andpromptly served. Stopped in here for the first time after driving by this place many times. The service was prompt and the food was served in... more than fair portions. I recommend the deluxe oatmeal! The seating is a little odd for a single patron as most tables seat 6or more. The food was tasty and served hot and quick. I hope to return in the future. Read more
I understand that everyone is short staffed these days, but breakfast took 90 minutes and then the eggs were way over cooked... (ordered over easy & got over hard). We had to ask for coffee refills, and we got charged because we didn't want to wait formore eggs to be cooked when the rest of the food was already getting cold. Real eggs, real French toast, really good prices. Plenty of space in the dining area, not noisy, friendly staff. I'm driving an... hour and a half to come back. I've lived all over the world and you dont find this quality in a restaurant. Read more
