Am almost five hour round trip to just eat here- and it was worth it!!! We have eaten at almost every burger joint in the... Dallas area, and only ONE can compete with Norman?s. We only got to enjoy the hamburgers, but we can not wait to return and trythose famous fried pies. This place is a cheat day dream! They aren?t concerned about caloric intake or serving sizes. They justwant your your belly and taste buds to be happy, and they excel at that! Honestly, if you wore their burger as a hat, yourtongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it. We got to enjoy a regular cheeseburger, BBQ burger, buffalo burger, andthe mushroom burger. The patties were perfectly seasoned! You could taste salt and pepper in every bite without it becoming tooaggressive. The patties were also big, but not too thick to feel overwhelming. The buns were soft and perfectly sized to thepatties. The mushrooms were given lots of love and care. You can tell they make sure to sauté them with plenty of garlic andgive them enough time in the pan to give you the perfect bite. The atmosphere was refreshing! The staff?s only concern was thatyou enjoyed your visit and your food. They were so friendly. The patrons reminded me of growing up in the country-something Imiss quite a lot. There were plenty of regulars who arrived during our short visit, but the staff knew every one of them by nameand what was going on in their life. Plenty of truckers and motorcyclists came through and were treated just like theregulars. The only downside of this place is that we don?t live closer! We can?t wait to visit again! Read more
Awesome hamburger yesterday.. The thing was huge. Not much more than a burger at McDonald's ???? way better. Great service,... clean, friendly staff. I'm headed there after I get empty at Dollar General for breakfast. They are life savers ... There isnothing out here really to eat. But their food is good. ???? Read more

Great little restaurant with the most polite folks. I enjoyed my breakfast but this place definitely has the World's best... BLACKBERRY PIE. If you are one of those folks who think you don't like BLACKBERRY pies it's only because you haven't had onefrom here. Read more

I have to say for me being a truck driver it's hard to find good spots to eat at. But this is a amazing spot to stop and have... dinner at, if you are waiting to get loaded or unloaded at dollar general. The customer service was amazing the burger was onpoint and they're fresh cut French fries, I have to say was hard to stop eating. I even topped my dinner off with the chocolatechip cream cookie. While making a delivery at Dollar General DC in Ardmore,OK... Spotted this red and yellow Diner sign on the way out and decided... to stop when I saw trucks parked there. Walked inside to ask about a hot meal and overnight parking. The womens greeting was sowarm and genuine it felt like you had just entered your aunties house???? She gave me a very robust cup of coffee that was justwhat I needed on a misty November morning. I had the egg breakfast w/o meat. She tried to accommodate my preferences but, weagreed it was not a big deal to just not include the meat. As I sat and enjoyed my meal, watching the continual activity andinteraction with every person who entered the Diner, I realized this place is a family business and very loved in the community.They are so inviting to the Truckers,Neighbors and Plant workers. Please stop in and say hello and have a meal if you can. You'll truly enjoy the family atmosphere. 5 Stars to Norman's for making me feel welcome. Read more
