I would give this establishment 3.5 stars if allowed. Fish and ingredients were fresh, bowls plentiful and nice assortment of... add-ons. Brown or white rice for bowls. Friendly and efficient servers. Enough left over for seconds. My issue was with the menuon the wall. The coloration and lack of clarity made it a hassle to view with and without my glasses. There was no handheldpaper menu to peruse. Both this eatery and the Madness tend toward the darker shades and lighting. I was a little torn on how to rate this meal. Everything about it was delicious; the ingredients were extremely fresh, a good... selection of ingredients to choose from when constructting your dish, staff was nice, and so on. The reason it isn't a slamdunk 5 stars is I got a tofu bowl, and the tofu was uncooked. Cut up diced tofu, but not cooked at all, raw. For anyone who eatstofu, you get it. Can't say I've seen tofu served raw in 15-20 years of eating tofu. I didn't notice it on the ingredients barand once I got it, the bowl was so fresh and the other ingredients so good, I powered through the raw tofu, and overall it wasfine. Would have been a 6 stars out of 5 if tofu was cooked/grilled/fried/prepared. Would like to go back and try them again tosee if it was just an oversight and change my review to a 5 star, but I'm a little hesitant to go spend the money just to findout. I wish there was a 3.5 stars because 3 seems almost too low, but for those who don't eat tofu, imagine going to McDonald'sand the chicken nuggets you get aren't fully cooked.
