This course is a great course to play. If you come here you have to hit the ball long! The greens are great and lighting fast... which can be good or bad depending on how you play lmao. If you're ever around make sure to stop in and play 18. Also weattended a wedding there Friday and it was great, the food they catered was also AMAZING. Read more
(Holly Ridge Golf Links, 311 South, Archdale,NC)Decided to start playing golf after 5 years. I have played Holly Ridge many... times and was eager to go there and visit the driving range. Well after 5 years, Holly Ridge has gotten better. I?ll play thecourse soon, but now I needed to hit balls at the range. The driving range was awesome and you can?t beat their $10 for all theballs you can hit. The staff was very friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend Holly Ridge Golf Links. This is a hidden gem of a course. The greens fees are one of least expensive within a 50 mile radius, especially considering... that it includes free range balls. The carts even have touch screen GPS! The greens are well kept and extremely fast! Courseis fairly open, so you won't get in too much trouble if you are a little wayward off the tee. The only issue we had was that itwas slow...about 35 minutes iff pace. But I understand it because it was crowded and that makes sense, considering how goodthis course is. Definitely recommend this quite, back off the road venue for a wedding or any event for that matter. Played HR for the first time yesterday and man what a treat it was. From the time we turned in the entrance I knew this was... going to be my kind of place. The clubhouse and outside seating areas were awesome!! The practice facilities were great aswell. Although, the greens were recovering from being punched recently we still had a great time. I do look forward to playingit when the greens are pure...I sure wish it was a little closer to home so I could enjoy the course more often.
