Only go here if you have no other option. This Murphy?s market isn?t like others in humboldt. Prices are constantly wrong on the... sales floor. Employees here (the ladies in particular) are incredibly rude for some reason. They give no eye contact and prettymuch toss your change at you. I get that you might hate your job but that doesn?t give you the right to act rude towards astranger, let alone a customer who is supporting your workplace. Packed with amazing variety for a smaller store. It feels mellow with such a nice calm atmosphere. Hot Meat special today was... steaming hot pork shanks that great grandma started eating in the car. Always something tasty in the deli. Read more
I used to love getting The hot bar Chinese food on Mondays. I thought the chow mei was chewy, However this time it had a rubber... band in it. The first people I talked to gave me a free sandwich card and told me to just fill up my carton at the hot bar. LikeI want your food anymore. After they couldn't find Their manager, a checker had to page him over the loud speakers. He gave memy money back and tries to give me, guess what, a sandwich card. This place is pathetic if this is how you treat customers. I'mcalling the health department. Read more
Murphys has a pretty good deli. You can get hot food, good-lookin sandwiches and various salads and things to go with them. I... think you can order burgers too...? Their deli food is the best around, to me anyway. I tried their Asiago pasta salad and itwas pretty good after a few bites. I only say that because it was unexpectedly tangy, but I still liked it. Rarely go in to this store, but I did today. The guy at the deli ignored me as he did his work. I stood & waited patiently. A... man came up & he said hello & waited on him while I stood there waiting. I just walked out. It's so disgusting how some peopledon't care about others, don't care about doing a good job & don't want to serve the public. This guy at the deli needs help forhis soul & the essence of his being. I will pray for him, yet I'll bypass ever going to Murphy's market ever again. Their pricesare too high anyway. Read more
