This theater is one of the hot spots to visit if there?s a film or concert playing you?re interested in. It?s got a great retro... vibe and snacks to make the film viewing experience top notch. My boyfriend and i go whenever it?s possible, our favorite showsare sunday films, scifi nights on wednesdays, midnight showings and any time there?s special events! A midnight movie showing was my most recent trip here, and as with all trips to ATL, I had a blast! This is my favorite concert... venue in town, and the movie offerings are diverse, relevant, and enjoyable every time. Add to that a full bar, solid kitchenofferings, and a helpful staff, you've got yourself an ideal spot for all your entertainment needs here in Arcata. Read more
On the weekends, it?s a fun venue if you enjoy dancing amongst a younger crowd. I wasn?t impressed with the lack of tables... available as I needed to sit down to deal with my disability. I had to set my drink down on a chair next to me to handle myinsulin pump and ended up knocking my drink over? waiter who came to clean the spill told me ?that?s why you have to hold thedrinks?. Maybe if they had a few more tables set up near the bar; customers who need to sit can be more comfortable in thisvenue. If you?re there to dance and drink ? you?ll be fine. If you?re like me and need a table, you may suffer a bit. Read more
A huge plus to Arcata. Love the events planned there, the space, the bar (that Bloody Mary at 8:30am on Sunday for the women's... world cup was right on! $8.50)... I don't go out much but I patronize this place on a regular basis- for the improv shows, themovies and the live sports events. Food took forever to come (they got swamped) but the breakfast nachos were surprisinglygood. It is very reasonably priced but I heard it's changing ownership?! Read more
GREAT small venue. The bartenders make a famn good drink. Only negative are the chairs, they're too small and slippery. Us... ladies with big dumpers have a hard time chillin' at the relaxed shows. Read more
