All I can do is echo the praise so many others have offered...but, it was such a refreshing change from most eateries these days... I felt compelled to add my kudos. This is real food prepared fresh and delicious in ample portions. I'm very picky...and I hadno complaints. Read more

Great place to eat for lunch or dinner. I had chicken fingers and they were awesome. My friends had the catch of the day and OMG... was it good and huge piece of fish. Definitely a place to go back to. Thank you for the great food and service! Read more

Located on a one-way street in Arcadia, this restaurant was a bit of a challenge to find but ample parking was available across... the street and just before reaching the building. The eatery is located in what appears to be the lobby of an old hotel. Theambience is relaxed, unassuming and local. A nice waiting area was provided and after a short, 10 minute wait we were seated. The waitress was friendly and efficient. The food arrived promptly and in good proportions. The fare was standard American witha few seafood options. Our meals were tasty and adequate but not remarkable. The deserts were not made in-house which was ashame given the southern feel of the establishment. There was no rush for patrons to depart and we were able to linger overdesert. A real pleasure in the current Florida tourist season. Read more

This is a first class eatery. The food was delicious and well presented. Seafood was a specialty, but their other menu options... were delicious as well. The food prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food. The wait staff was very friendly, attentive and courteous even though they were short staffed. There was a notice posted at the hostess' stand explaining thatthey were short staffed and for customers to be patient. We didn't think the wait for service was any longer than it would beat any nice restaurant. The beer and wine list featured a nice variety and the prices were reasonable. We will definitely beback in the future. Read more

Loved this place. The menu options were almost too good to choose one selection from and definitely made me want to come back to... try more. Very elevated and nicely plated food. Would definitely recommend! Read more

Passing through we found this gem. It?s in the old Plaza hotel building. Parked in the back and went in a back door, down the... hall towards the front of the building and right into a large foyer. The place was homey and looked to be a locals favorite. Started with smoked yellow tail fish dip and crackers which was rich Smokey and delicious. Service was really good, the gal wasfriendly and helpful. Very sweet. Read more

Originally I gave a 3 star review on the first visit having the fish and chip. Fish has good but the chips were on the over... fried side. On this second visit, I went for the grilled crab cake sandwich and this was quite tasty. Pairing this with a housesalad and tartar sauce was perfect. Read more

My wife and I drive through Arcadia often on our way to Sarasota and finally stopped to give this restaurant a try. We are glad... we did. While it was relatively busy since it was Valentine's Day we were still able to be sat in about thirty minutes. Ourserver was attentive and prompt with our drinks and the taking of our order. I ordered the fish and chips and could not havebeen happier with how it was cooked and tasted. There is no doubt we will be stopping at this gem of a restaurant many moretimes. Read more
