Well, if the flies buzzing around your head aren't enough the barbecue platter was actually plain baked pork that was shredded... and it was absolutely disgusting. It was like dog food. I took two bites and sent it back and they only took 50% off that item.New owners, and I would definitely not recommend this place. Everybody else's meals weren't great either. Waste of a drive. DidI mention the cook in a tank top? All around dirty feel and all these previous wonderful reviews are for the old owners. The newowner should've had to change their name. Read more
Ribs are on point! BBQ sandwich was hands down the most amazing BBQ sandwich I've ever had and yes you must add the slaw on... it!!!!! You can tell it's homemade! I've tried the she crab soup before and it wasn't my thing. Yet this time I tried and it wasfull of lump crab! Could have made a meal out of it. Honestly! So juicy and creamy it was. Don't be fooled by the unassuming exterior of this restaurant, or for that matter, the interior. This is some of the best... seafood I have ever had in my entire life. We were a little disappointed since they did not have oysters or soft shell crabs butwe found some other stuff that we really loved. (They say they only have local fresh seafood, so you should expect there arethings on the menu they might not have on any given night.) The sheet crab soup was spectacular. Creamy and full of crab. Thepan seared scallops were probably the best scallops I've ever had. Crispy, yet tender and cooked to perfection. The lump craband shrimp sauteed combo was five star. You could put this in any classy restaurant and charge triple the amount. The absolutebest I've ever tasted. Service was excellent, with a very friendly staff. We go to this ( Gary's Down East Seafood) restaurant from time to time and we always had a pleasant experience. The dishes are... delicious and always looking forward to order their popcorn shrimp. I wished it will be winter so I can get to order the fishsoup. Absolutely takes care of their customers, that's why we keep coming back. Read more
