I love California Coffee!!! It is the sunniest spot in Aptos it?s the most spectacular tropical garden, you feel like you are in... Hawaii. I not only come for some thing warm and cozy to drink or a little something tasty to eat. I visit regularly CaliforniaCoffee because of the hospitality the customer service the beautiful people and this amazing welcoming haven that Silvia Reyeshas created. Let?s not forget the Weeknd music I love to dance and that?s an extra bonus for me. You may be a Starbucks fan ora Peets fan but once you come to California Coffee you?ll be Calif Coffee fan?? Was looking around Aptos for some property early on a Saturday morning. Place is a little off the beat and path. Needed some... coffee. Got a mocha. They do it well. Have a nice seating area. Good selection of pastries. Would go again. Read more

I don't drive this way often but when I do, I make sure I stop by here and grab a delicious latte and burrito! Anything I have... tried here on the menu is great! The live music and family feel-good vibes here really make the experience worthwhile. The ownerand staff are fun social people to chat it up with and make you feel so welcome. I encourage everyone to visit this sweet gem ofa spot tucked away in Aptos. Read more

I used to come here a lot when it was a different business (almost a decade ago). Been a while, but I came in with a healthy... dose of skepticism... but I am SOLD. The macha latte is divine. I recommend. The staff genuinely friendly and helpful. AND theclean bathroom is a huge comfort for the weary traveler. Come come, come ye, come all!!! Read more

Cute place, great location. My coffee is basic. Breve latte with brown sugar which is hard to get wrong. I removed two starts... because I thought it was extremely lame that she actually charged me .75 cents for a scoop of brown sugar. I am the type ofperson who visits a town and tries every single locally owned coffee shop. Never in the over 100 plus coffee shops that I havehad the pleasure of trying all over the Western Hemisphere have I ever ever once been charged for sugar. So because i asked for?brown sugar? that was a special request syrup charge worthy of half the price of a box of brown sugar. Its not that big of adeal but worth mentioning and enough to not go back. A small latte only half full at that because it was more like a cappuccinofull of foam for 6.50? Hard pass. Starbucks is next door to my bungalow and the same coffee was 5.00. I also was turned off byseeing Costco muffins at a locally owned place. I like when they bake their own or source locally from other bakers. So Iremoved a star for that too. Coffee flavor itself was 4stars. Read more
