The Cozzy Corner features excellent soul food and Southern style comfort food. It's situated in Appleton's downtown area. We... agreed that their ribs had the best flavor around. The price also being so reasonable, really makes the case for them. Don'tsleep on the waffles either. I am getting one of those every time I go. They are flavor packed and have the most unusual yetamazing texture. Of course, chicken and waffles is the marquee waffle dish, but there's an entire page of other waffle options,(waffoptions). Our server was very helpful, and our food arrived in a timely manner. Presentation and food temperature wasspot-on too. Now, the place is in tough shape, but the food definitely makes up for it. While there is some good ambiance, aremodel is still warranted. Can't wait to go back though. Oh yeah, I will get the fried okra again too. It's one of the sidechoices. FANTASTIC Having my relatives and both sides of the family from the South and generations going back in Mississippi and Memphis,... I miss the true southern food. First time here, got the 2 meat plate with catfish and sausage and collard greens, hush puppiesand corn bread. The collard greens were amazing, the hush puppies were Perfect. Everything was perfect! The food is great and the atmosphere is pretty cool. Their portions are big so come hungry.
The food was pretty good. I had chicken and waffles, and there's choices for meat and sides. The fried chicken was really crispy... but the waffles was not what I expected, personally like crispy waffle, compared to fluffy one. However, overall was prettygood. Will visit again soon! Read more
The food was good- not great. Chicken and butter pecan waffle- the waffle was very good, chicken was moist but not much meat on... the bones. Ribs were fine, hush puppies were fried perfectly but had little flavor, did like the okra. Service was okay until awoman came in who works there and was very loudly complaining about someone she clearly doesn?t like. She went on and on andon?not appropriate for an establishment setting. I wanted to love this place but didn?t. I did like it but don?t know that Ineed to eat there again. Read more
