A group of us went to Perkins for breakfast. 2 of us ordered a muffin to take home. After we paid our bill we overheard other... customers discussing the buy 3 get 3 free muffin special so we asked if we could get 2 more muffins to get 3 free. Waitress saidshe couldn't ring it up since we already paid. Excellent customer service means FIND A WAY! Food was good. Coffee was good. Toobad we were not given excellent treatment. Was a long wait because of staff shortage, which is understandable. Our waitress Courtney was a high school student on her... second day on the job and was a delightful person. Our order wasn't perfect but now days this is more common so...food wasok..had higher hopes for the pie. Manager seemed rude especially to the staff. Highlight was talking with the neighboring tablesand the fact that we actually had a young waitress that wanted to work. Read more
This four star rating has been up now for five years and I still rated as such. No matter where I am at this is the only Perkins... location I visit. Food is always prepared the way you order it, food tastes great and service is always wonderful. Facilitiesare kept clean establishment as a whole always looks maintained. As other chain family restaurants falter im so glad this one isstill thriving. Read more
We are up here for a family reunion and so we stopped out here for a bite to eat. We stood around with my family (six of us)... waiting for someone to acknowledge or seat us. We waited five minutes. The restaurant wasn't very busy and there were plenty ofstaff intentionally ignoring (yet staring at) us. My family and I wear a lot of black, and we all felt that staff werepurposely ignoring us as there were folks who came in after us that were helped. I have never felt discriminated against forwearing too much black since leaving high school over twenty years ago... it's pretty atrocious and rude behavior all around.Hard to explain it to my 10 year old when she could see we were being left out. I don't tolerate that type of stuff soultimately we left without ever being seated or spoken to. Just stared and gawked at. Definitely making sure to spread theword to all our family and friends up here. Definitely recommend the Perkins on the other side of town. Or the IHOP. Read more
The revamped menu is fantastic I love it all. So tasty that I wish i could just eat endlessly....no joke!
Took about 5 minutes for staff to greet&seat. Got seated and waited 30minutes to get mine and my husbands order in, we never got... our order in. Felt like we were just pushed to the side while everyone else was eating, paying for their meals, coming ingetting seated. Saw the staff peak around the corner to see if people behind us got their food and just turned away. Not even asingle "Did you guys get an order in or still waiting?" You would think we didnt get our order in if the menus are still on thetable..we had our menus infront of us the whole time and once orders are in the menus get taken away. Also got seated where thesun was SHINING so bright i had to leave my head tilted one way i couldnt even move to look at the menu comfortably-get blindsso noone else will have to go through what i did! Also, the lady that seated us seems to hate her job. Not a single smile on herface just a resting stare-you're working in customer service, do better. Read more
