The food was good, however our server walked over with an attitude. Acted like she didn't want to be there and made it seem like... an imposition when I added on to my order and asked if we could please have silverware as she brought my friend her coffee butshe had nothing to stir her creamer with. Then when our food came my friends burger was missing some of the condiments sheordered and when we asked for the other condiment the server kind of roller eyes and walked away and when she brought it we saidthank you we got to yep and that was it the food was good but the service was very poor not worth the attitude at all. We were seated immediately but then sat for 15 minutes without a single employee stopping, taking our order, etc. Multiple... employees made eye contact but nobody said a word. It was not a busy time and there were multiple open tables. Probably just acommunication mix-up but not a great experience. Read more
Because it is close to home it has become our go-to place for eating out. The broasted chicken is consistently excellent. The... rueben sandwich is good but generally all the meat ends up on one side of the sandwich so rebuilding is necessary :D. The frenchfries are excellent, always crispy outside and fluffy inside and always cooked in fresh oil (no oily aftertaste). The bakedbeans are excellent as well. Met up with college friend here and had a wonderful homemade meal like my momma use to make when I was a child. The food was... seasoned perfectly and our waitress wast the best my friends soda and my coffee never was empty. Recommend Mary's to everyone. Read more
Good basic food like a truck stop diner, good service, reasonable prices
Service was quick, food was great. I had the dumpling soup and potatoe salad which to my surprise genuinely looked like the... picture on the menu and tasted awesome. To the end, Bill was paid and we were finishing up eating to go, our server said itwasn't. Went up to see what the issue was, a nice worker there helped and stated it was. We were in a rush to leave when thishad happened so it was super frustrating. Other than that for the first time trying the restaurant everything was great. Read more
Daughter and I went here last week for our weekly ?girls date night?. We went for the broasted chicken. I ordered the white meat... broasted chicken with baked potato and chicken white chili. Chicken breast was good however the piece was very small, my secondpiece of chicken was a wing. There was zero meat on the wing. Baked potato was okay but not great. The chili was very good. Mydaughter ordered the kids 2 piece dark meat chicken. She had a thigh and a leg. The thigh was so small the leg was of decentsize but nothing to brag about. Our waiter never came back to the table until we were done with our meal. My daughters meal alsocame with a kids sundae that I had to ask him for as he never offered. Many waitstaff were observed to just be messing around(they all appeared to teenagers with one exception). When checking out with the one adult working she was the least friendlyperson and appeared to not be happy to be working at all. Due to poor waitstaff and size of pieces of chicken I can not say wewill be back, there are way too many other places to explore to give this a second chance. Read more
