There was the Drink for Pink Annual event happening and although the dining area closed at 4pm, we were able to sit at the bar... area. The waitress was nice, the food arrive pretty fast and the food was cooked to perfection! Read more

The servers here are seriously great. Very nice people. My experience was fine. I'm just going to call out the chicken and... mushroom "risotto". Man I tell you I laughed when I got it. Maybe I'm wrong, but this is straight up regular rice mixed withsome creamy sauce. The chicken was ok. Great garlic flavor. I guess this is what I should have expected as risotto from a foodcourt in a mall. I just think I wouldnt have paid $19 for chicken and rice. I think this is a good place for its beer andburgers but not anything on their menu that is supposed to be fancier than that. Read more

Fox River Brewing Company is a huge, self contained, restaurant which is adjacent to the Fox River Mall food court. It has a... bar in one corner and an open kitchen in the other. In between, is a wide open dining area with many regular tables. The menuhas a wide variety of choices, so I wondered about execution. Thus, I was pleasantly surprised by our piping hot dishes andtheir excellent textures. The flavors were spot on as well. I had chicken and waffles, and my cousin had fish and chips. Weloved them both. The fish consisted of big, flaky, dark beer battered, cod fillets which held together nicely without beinggreasy. So, the fish and chips descriptor is accurate. The chicken was crispy and the breading was well seasoned. Either dishis a great choice. The staff was friendly and responsive. They brew their own beers and have a nice cocktail menu as well. I'm not much of a shopper, but this place might turn me into a mall rat. You know how you catch a rat, right? You put out goodcheese! Of course, the curds there were good too. Nibble, nibble, zap! So.. we came here during lunch on mother’s day, which naturally was busy, and that was expected. Sat down for our lunch, got... drinks and menus, bartender was great and food was awesome- no complaints there, but.. i have worked in hospitality for 10+years and i have never seen a bus boy in shorts and a sweatshirt looking like he just came from a fricken gym, they were way tooshort (def not professional attire), he was on his phone texting at the end of the bar (very inattentive).. you can’t tell theservers from a manager from the hostess. restaurants like this should have uniforms and not look so sloppy, it looks veryunprofessional. Had a decent atmosphere. Had a flight of their beers... None of them were really great. My husband nor I liked any. The waitress... seemed indifferent. The burgers were cooked ok very "bloody runny" if you know what I mean, like they didn't rest them beforeplating. We had asked for well done. The burgers themselves were good but there was no flavor at all. Tasted like plainhamburger. The fries were good. Overall we were disappointed... Wouldn't recommend and would not be making it a stop if we evercame through here again. Oh we were on vacation from out of state and asked the waitress for recommendations since we like totry what restaurants are famous for.... She wasn't able to give us a straight answer. Even when she asked if we liked the beerand we said no, she said "I don't understand, do you want more or what?" So needless to say yeah... Not a highlight for ourtrip. Read more

This was our first day in Wisconsin and we decided to try Fox River Brewery and we were not disappointed. We started with the... cheese curds and a beer flight with local craft beers that were outstanding. If you have not had a blueberry style beer you needto give it a shot. The fish and chips were really good and came with 3 huge pieces of fish. Our server Ben was really awesomeand very helpful when trying to decide what to try. There is not a better way to start a fun weekend get away then with a goodmeal. Read more
