Our first time visiting the restaurant. I must admit I left very impressed with the service and Food. This place is our regular restaurant in the h.d. for non fast-food mexican food. There is a restaurant in this classification... "down the hill" that we like better, but locally this is our spot. The quality is consistently very good and prices are fair.Tortilla chips are fresh, but beware - the salsa is pretty hot! Service is also very good. Just to be fair... it's not in thebest area of A.V., but we've never had an issue in about a decade of visits and will, no doubt, be back again soon. Read more
Best vegan burrito and also most affordable price. Great customer service and the atmosphere is so cozy and immaculate. Everyone... here is kind and nice and the food and service can?t be beat. This place is awesome. I've lived in apple valley for a few years and never been here. But OMG, this place is great. ... Everything I have tried so far is amazing, flavorful, and very well worth the price. Not to mention the portions are great. Ihad to take half of my burrito home. And the margaritas ???? are epic. Everyone in my group liked their food. I would have given mine around a 3, but everyone else raved about their dishes so it may... have just been my dish, or just my taste this evening. The facilities seemed well kept, with good ambiance as expected for anice Mexican restaurant. Based off food only I would give a 4 ????; however, while the servers were nice, we had to ask fordrink refills after siting with empty glasses for a while, had to ask for a second basket of chips, which was needed due toquite a lengthy wait for our dinner. Overall, I would recommend if not in a rush, and would be willing to give a second chancewith a different dish. Read more
Very dark and outdated at first look. But once you are seated, the staff is super friendly. It was clean, and as every busy... only Mexican restaurant in the area ( honestly is a white wash mexican place) yes the restroom was a mess, yet it was wellstocked. The drink menu is very outdated a full binder for the drinks, full 8x10 pictures one drink per pg kind off thing. Butoverall the drinks are pretty good. Tried a few and they tasted good. They serve you chips and salsa while you wait to order.The chips were cold and seemed they've been sitting out for a long time. ( a warmer might be a great idea) the salsa was notgood, it seemed like they just poured Pace. I didn't care for it at all. The menu for the food is more up to date, a fewmisspell errors but nothing major. Tried the menudo and it was great! I was really not expecting it to be good. What reallycaught my attention is the staff. They all were working super hard! Really friendly, and great positive attitude.
