This was my first time at Positano?s. I will definitely be back. We started with the mussels for an appetizer. The mussels... were cooked perfectly with the right amount of garlic and seasoning in the sauce. I then ordered the chicken Gorgonzola and mywith had the warm chicken salad. The Gorgonzola sauce was amazing and chicken was cooked just right. My wife?s warm salad wasout of this world. I?m not a salad person but couldn?t stop eating her salad. LOL The service was spot on for a Saturdaynight. We also had a bottle of wine and would of had desert, but we?re too full from dinner. We could only eat about half ofour meal. Decided to try this place since it was close by and I never been before! Everything took long to come out so 20 mins later the... bread and appetizer finally came and how am I suppose to eat with no fork and knife? Just my hands? So my friend had to ask forutensils! Then I ordered a blueberry mojito then they tell me they have no blueberries so they can try putting blueberry vodkainstead to substitute with the rum I tried it and didn?t like and it was too strong for me so end up ordering just a regularmojito instead. The antipasto wasn?t what I was expecting I thought it was gonna be a salad underneath but looked more like acharcuterie board so that was disappointing! Great service. White pizza was amazing. And everyone else loved their meals as well. They had Eggplant Parmesan, Warm Chicken... Salad, and a Greek Salad with Grilled Chicken. The kids had a regular small pizza and part of my white pizza. Read more
Very good atmosphere, it feels like you are indeed in an Italian restaurant. Staff is very nice. The pasta is very tasteful and... of a big portion. The pizza is okay, the ingredients are def fresh but it can definitely use a little more tomato sauce (un po'di più di passata di pomodoro). The dough reminds me more of a NY style crust rather than an Italian one. My favorite part isthat they sell some of their items to the public. The strawberry tiramisu is delicious as well as the lentils soup (minestra dilenticchie). Read more
I?ve heard such good things about this place so I figured I would give them a try. Really wish I did not. I ordered a pizza,... and some cheese sticks. The cheese sticks tasted like they were right out of the freezer. The pizza wow! I can honestly say itwas probably one of the worst pizzas I have ever ate. It was soggy, and something was off with the taste. I don?t even think mytrash can enjoyed it. Service was a tad prolonged...not that busy in the so called "fine dining" side. Serving water is a nice touch...but in Florida... you need ice...sodas and lemonade served in tacky plastic. Veal was good...Ahi tuna was kind of disappointing...minimalist. Somechopped fresh herbs...Parsley even would have dressed up the veal.
