My husband and I grabbed lunch here today while shopping downtown Apex. The blue cheese chips are so delicious and kinda unique... with the pepper jelly twist. He had a yummy French dip sandwich, tender and tasty and I ordered a Caesar salad with salmon. Theservice was fast and friendly! The only thing keeping it from a 5 star review was the uncomfortable seating. Wooden bench seatswith arm makes it tricky getting in and out of. They do have another section of the restaurant with upholstered seating, hopefully more comfortable, that we will request when we go back again. It has a rustic feel with brick walls and wooden floorsand furniture. Read more

One of the best restaurants in 100 miles! A beautiful atmosphere with an elegant and well executed menu. The Saturday we were... guests, they had live music outside on the patio and the service was from everyone was over-the-top! Cannot give a higherrecommendation! Read more

Fish and chips a must try, I had mine with season fries instead of the chips and love them.

Overall, very good. Clean modern space with rustic finishes. Staff were attentive. Nice atmosphere. Only loses a star because... they mixed up my order. Good fish tacos. Parking can be a bit of a pain. Read more

What a wonderful experience I had here. I had the bone in pork chop while my wife had the meatloaf. My meal was very good, my... wife enjoyed everything but the green beans (initially). What made this a 5-star review was that Sedrick (executive chef) cameout after she was not satisfied with the green beans and went out of his way to make sure she enjoyed what she was eating andput a smile on her face. He made everything a much more enjoyable experience knowing the care he showed to something as simpleas green beans. This is a must eat for Apex. I will also add, the service here was top notch and friendly. Read more

At first I was sceptical due to the empty tables and a wait of 25 min, but after sitting down, the service was on point and the... food was amazing. Very generous portions that did not skimp on flavor. The meatloaf was moist (I hate that word) and flavorful, the potatoes melted in your mouth, the chicken dip was spicy with a burst of spice, the pork braised collard greens wereperfectly cooked, and the waiter was fantastic with his suggestions. Overall wonderful experience, with an interestingatmosphere, with food to satiate the most hangry of customers. Also, because I'm indecisive about beverages the waiter recommenda flight of beers, and that turned out to be the perfect dessert to the meal. We ate our fill, had boxes to go, and willabsolutely come back again. Read more

The Peak offers a rather upper class dining experience with excellent entrees. Pricing is as expected for this caliber of... establishment. Appetizers can be a little anemic, as the pork belly only provides 4 small slices and others were similar inportion. Flavor wise, the pork belly was excellent with the bed of slaw. Fried oysters were freshly cooked and crispy. The BeerBatter Fish & Chips plate was very generous. The fries had good flavor and texture with light seasoning while the (2) codfillets were quite substantial and the breading was hearty. The fish was fried perfectly to a tender white flake, not chewy andtough. Condiments, ketchup & tartar sauce, were provided but I was surprised that the traditional vinegar was not offered withthis dish. Service was a little slow with wait staff not making as frequent checks as we would have liked. Read more
