Cool, crunchy, fruity. What more do you need? A second helping!???? There is always a wait, but each bowl is made to order.
I had positive experiences with Buoy Bowls before as a customer. That is why I went to them with a fundraising opportunity for a... philanthropy event I was planning for my graduate program. I got verbal confirmation in November 2021 for the event happeningMarch 2022. A few emails and texts went back and forth with the company between November and I would say January. January Iconfirmed (again) that they would like to participate. Was told yes. Once I was working to finalize details, end of January intoFebruary, I started not hearing back. I followed up with emails and texts with no response. Mid February comes around and Ireach out to an individual I know who works there to get the organizer to respond to me, was told they would but never heard aresponse. I then had to last minute find a different organization to help me with my event. Getting verbal confirmation inNovember had me assuming all would be well. Fast and convenient and our go-to for a quick healthy breakfast. A little pricey than other Acai bowls that we have tried but... delicious. Personally I like my smoothie or Acai bowls better in shallow bowls so you can get a a good ratio of yourtoppings/smoothie till your last bite. Buoy has deep bowls and I always end up with a lot more teeth-chilling smoothie with notoppings to eat with...again some people may like it this way...purely a personal preference. I placed my order through the app and it automatically populated a location this time and not the location that I normally use... or wanted at Raleigh Orthopedics instead it put my order through without asking me or prompting me to pick a place, to thelifetime fitness location. The app said it would be ready in 20 minutes, I showed up to the Raleigh orthopedic location within10 minutes and they said it?s their policy that any wrong order through the app is not their responsibility and unless the otherplace hadn't already made my drink they wouldn?t make me another one to replace it. Of course the other location had alreadymade my order 10 minutes before they said it would be ready so I was just out of luck after paying for a $10 drink. If they aregoing to have a policy that strict about not honoring orders placed at the wrong location than their app needs to prompt you topick a location rather than picking one for you. that?s just a terrible policy and customer service Read more
