I had positive experiences with Buoy Bowls before as a customer. That is why I went to them with a fundraising opportunity for a... philanthropy event I was planning for my graduate program. I got verbal confirmation in November 2021 for the event happeningMarch 2022. A few emails and texts went back and forth with the company between November and I would say January. January Iconfirmed (again) that they would like to participate. Was told yes. Once I was working to finalize details, end of January intoFebruary, I started not hearing back. I followed up with emails and texts with no response. Mid February comes around and Ireach out to an individual I know who works there to get the organizer to respond to me, was told they would but never heard aresponse. I then had to last minute find a different organization to help me with my event. Getting verbal confirmation inNovember had me assuming all would be well.
