7 of us arrived about 40 minutes to closing. We were greeted & quickly seated. Our waitress worked her butt off & never missed a... beat. We were well taken care of, our food was great & the service was the best. We were finished at 2 minutes to 9 (closingtime) but never felt rushed. We paid our $138 tab, thank her for her impeccable service & left her a $50 tip. See kids if youwork hard & do a good job people will reward you. You aren't entitled to anything. Great wings. Liked it so much we went back on consecutive weekends. Kind of a weird spot and the interior could use some... improvement. Sauces were excellent and so was the sauce variety. Wings themselves were juicy with a crisp outside. On the largerside for wings. Tried 2 appetizers so far and both were good and a large portion. The sandwiches also looked very appetizing.Service was very good for having a short staff. Beer selection is also very good. Very pleased we went there and will obviouslyreturn. Read more
Best wings in town as far as I'm concerned. If you like a sauce with some kick and a great flavor then Shearon Harris is... definitely the one you want to try. The rest of the menu has a good variety and the staff is super friendly. Always a greatexperience here. Read more

First time here. The wings honey schiracha got a kick which is good. The other folks' reviews about the friendly bar staff and... regulars are on point. Met a couple of them and instantly welcomed. Will definitely be back. Read more
First time visiting. Overall the food was pretty good. We ordered the fried mushrooms. They were nice and crispy and well... cooked, but they lacked seasoning. We also had the onion rings, they were cooked well and the flavor was good. We got the 12piece bone in chicken wings with BBQ and Sweet habanero. The habanero does have flavor and isn't just all heat, the sweetnesscomes from them mixing bbq sauce in. The BBQ had a nice smokey flavor. The cook on the wings was good as well. I requested theBBQ to be extra crispy and they did not disappoint. The wings were also drowning in sauce instead of just coated. My son gotthe kids hamburger with fries and ate it all. The Texas toast that came with the wings was a big let down. It really was just athick slice of bread not toasted with a dash of what we think was cheese. Service was good and very friendly, but COVIDprecautions seemed non-existent from both staff and patrons. Read more
UPDATE: We frequent Apex Wings quite often and never had a bad meal until now. My husband picked up 15 medium wings, a 6pc... boneless terriaki meal, a 6 pc boneless thai chili meal and a 6 pc orange seasame. All three 6pc meals had very overcookedonion rings to the point the edges are burnt! We live in Pittsboro so it wasn't like we could run back in for properly cookedones. They were not edible at all, just nasty. I tried calling and I pressed "2" to speak to someone, only to be disconnectedtwice. So needless to say I am not happy about the food, nor the fact that I couldn't actually speak to a human. I sincerelyhope that this is not the new standard for Apex Wings.
