This Waffle House has declined in quality steadily over the last couple years. The cooks can't handle the volume anymore, and... you're looking at close to an hour wait unless it's completely empty. Cleanliness suffers accordingly. Read more
If I could ever get service here I would. 6:50 a.m I walk in to have 2 workers tell me the kitchen is closed. I?m then told I... have to wait for next shift. Less than 2wks ago I pull in only to be told by the same guy, who?s outside smoking a cigarette,that they?re closed indefinitely. Not sure what?s going on at this Waffle House, but I won?t be pressing my luck a third timewhen I get hungry again. Absolutely awful! Got my order wrong... 3 times. Was there 45 minutes. And still had to pay for my order. I tip according and... very well. When my order is made how I ask for it, I tip the cook and the waitress. Very very well. I am a picky eater and theyhad a few customers. But I recently had oral surgery, so I have to be. They also had 2 cooks(no excuse). 2 burgers wrong, 3times. And when I finally got to leave, the orders were still wrong. I will start going back to the Smyrna location. Oh andwhile I was there for the last set of burgers to be made over, my hashbrowns were sitting there getting cold. So I had tomicrowave my food once I got home. I normally only go there. But they have went way downhill in the past year. Oh and whatrestaurant only has diced onions? And who puts diced onions on a burger. Look at the bacon. Not a good visit at all. We came here because of Waffle House doing the amazing thing of donating all the proceeds to the victims families. While we... were there it was very somber feeling, just still in complete shock of how close this was to home. The service was great, thefood is always good. Horrible experience!!! We have been waiting for this Waffle House to open for months....and what a disappointment! We walked in... and only 2 tables where occupied ALL the others where dirty and full of old dishes. We had to sit at the dirty counter and wait10 min for someone to acknowledge our presence. Another 15 for someone to take our order and another 45 to get our food,well...2 of us got our food, the 3rd had to wait until we finished eating to get her food. Coke machine wasn't working, so nosodas, ordered coffee and even though they finished the coffee on us they didn't start another pot. So when we asked for morewe had to wait for them to start a pot. People where walking in and literally walking out because all the tables where dirty andno one was great in them. The kitchen was a MESS! The server dropped milk all over the floor and just left it.....I could saymore but I think you get the point! Rude and unprofessional staff! Horrible! Okay so I got there around tables were mostly closed off which was Okay no one was there eating anyhow. The area was clean. No... enthusiasm though. My order was the all star. I ask for scrambled eggs yet the semed like fryed egg chopped up my toast wascut squared and not buttered no asked if i need anything else or if all was okay. Had some customers come in sit down orderthey even had to borrow my syrup because he wasn't given any. I go to different waffle house locations in different states alltill now . Except for on in Atlanta that was dreadful have been great friendly. This one not so much store #2267.
