Very good experience. They were short staffed and we did wait a while. In their defense, they did have a baseball team in right... before us. The food was very good. They have outside seating or you can dine inside. The place was clean, the employees werehelpful and we will be visiting again. Overall, good job! Read more
My first time eating here. My son got a cheese burger only ketchup 1/2 pound and he was in shock how big it was when he got it.... He ate the whole thing. Burger and Philly Gem! This place is fantastic! Family owned and run; customers are treated as with respect and dignity.... Atmosphere is lively with street retro decorations. I was looking for a good burger place for lunch, and I am so happy I strolled across this gem. I order the 1lb Mushroom Burger,... and omg, it?s humongous!! The price for the portion is unheard of! I couldn?t even kind of finish it, I asked to purchase asecond bun, but the owner gave me one free. The burger was well seasoned, and there were plenty of mushrooms. I receivedexcellent service too. Picked up a 1lb Mushroom Swiss Burger, a 1lb BBQ Bacon Burger and an order of fries today. MASSIVE portions that can be used... for at least 2 meals EACH. Juicy, well seasoned beef patties. You will never leave hungry. Philly and burgers specializes in half pound burgers and over stuffed cheesesteaks. Each of these... huge food items has great taste, and often results in eating with a fork. My recommendation would be to get these items as takeout. The dining area, while it has neat freehand art on the wall, is otherwise a bit greasy. But that aside, enjoy a thickbaloney, or a chicken cheesesteak, or an immerse hamburger. Give them a try.
