I always prefer local restaurants to chain restaurants. This area of Nashville has plenty of restaurants featuring Mexican... inspired cuisine. With that in mind, I find this restaurant as standard. The decor is typical of a Mexican restaurant.Slightly disappointing, the food is also typical. My "go-to" entre is a Chimichanga. This was fine, but in no way special. So Iwill return here but would hope for something that differentiates it from other restaurants. Read more

The worst customer service experience I have ever had at a Mexican restaurant. You guys have got to get better!! When I walk in... looking to grab a dinner a couple of beers, I expect just that. I don't expect to be looked at as someone who is stepping onsomeones turf. I thought I was going to have to protect myself to be honest. Absolutely unacceptable and I am disgusted. This is one of lesser Los Portales restaurants. Our food was so hard and overcooked we literally couldn't eat it. The beans... tasted sour and the rice was flavorless. I asked for a refund and was instructed to go the Uber Eats to do so, which is fine.Overall, this place felt like an abandoned Applebee's in a strip mall. Read more
