We had such a great experience right from the start, from our waitress Tori making us feel right at home, plus making sure we... had the right silverware for our second course. And the drinks.. made to our specific taste! Also the food was right on point, not only delicious but healthy? great work here overall and would come back if we could! Read more

I doubt that my review will remotely capture how fantastic and frankly, life changing our visit at The Townhouse was. To make a... long story short, my husband and I were planning to stop in Antigonish for a meal half way through our 4+ hour drive across theprovince. We unfortunately popped a tire in our rental car on the highway (2.5 hours from The Townhouse) and arrived 15 minutesto closing on a hope and a prayer that we would be able to get some takeout. We assumed the chances were slim, until a glowing, angel (the manager Katie) approached us, and asked if we would be willing to sit down, have a drink to unwind. We must havelooked pretty bewildered by this point (it was 9:45 PM). She poured me what I would estimate was a 15oz glass of wine, talked myhubby into a glass aswell and made us comfortable enough to order food despite the late hour. She was kind enough to consultwith the kitchen to determine which dishes could be made vegan and gluten free to accommodate my unfortunately limited diet. Thefood was world class delicious, the hospitality was unmatched and the atmosphere was everything I could have asked for. She wentso above and beyond, and when we went to settle up, she even refused to let us pay for the wine. I feel that this already longreview fails to come close to how perfect this experience was. I?m forever grateful to Katie and The Townhouse for taking careof us on what could have been a very terrible, very hungry night. We love you Katie! I still want to be best friends! Butseriously - if you?re thinking about going here, stop thinking and JUST GO. As soon as you possibly can, and as many times asfate allows. You won?t regret it. Read more

Best restaurant of our NS trip! Very strong but good drinks. Delicious main course with really fresh oyster.

We decided to stop by on a Sunday evening for dinner as we have not had a chance to try The Townhouse out. It was quite busy,... and we did not know it's better to make a reservation. Fortunately there was room outside for a group of 4. The atmosphere isnice, and our waitress was very sweet, attentive and helpful with the drinks and food menu. I usually take pictures, but onlydid of our dessert (which was amazing) the food looked too good and everyone dug in right away. Everyone was pleased and my inlaws are still talking about the food the next day. I have some friends and family visiting soon and will be bringing them here.It was disappointing they did not have oysters, but hopefully they will next time. This is some of the best food I've had in along while. Read more
