Stayed at the maratime inn for a few days for work and couldn't have felt more at home. The staff were amazing and service was... great. Rooms were exceptionally clean and a great size. The main street cafe is attached to the hotel and a free breakfast isavailable for anyone who stayed the night in the hotel. Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed at and cleary a spot thattruly values its customers. Read more
Great place if you are wanting to stay close to the town centre. You can walk to anywhere you need from here! The rooms are... spacious, and thoughtful. The staff are hospitality rockstars! The restaurant is always a treat, with a few plates for everypalette, and some unique treats! Read more
An older property downtown Antigonish that has been maintained with an excellent restaurant! Rooms are clean, beds very... comfortable..and, when there is a power outage..downtown quadrant was impacted..flashlights provided. The complimentarybreakfast is from restaurant menu..delicious..the best food ever. Location..walking distance to unique shops and other eatingestablishments. Mind you..due to no power, we were only able to "view". Would definitely stay here again if opportunity presentsitself. I just hope that Hurricane Fiona didn't cause too much..if any damage. Clean quiet hotel, and the staff were polite friendly and super helpful. The restaurant food was terrific, tasty and lots of it.... Our servers were polite friendly and very knowledgeable. The Owner was exceedingly kind to my father and if we are ever that wayagain, we will return. Read more
Stayed overnight in June during a road trip. Good-value hotel. Our room was a decent size, well-kept, clean and modern. Be aware... that there is no elevator, so you'll be hoisting your luggage up a narrow staircase if you're in an upper room. We got abreakfast voucher for the restaurant at the site, which covered most of the cost of our breakfast. The food and service in therestaurant were okay. Convenient location, easily walkable to anything in the small downtown core. Parking was breezy. Read more
It was clean. But as others have mentioned you can hear others through the walls talking, peeing, etc. If your sensitive to that... kind of thing don't stay here. Then you got the food. I actually very much enjoyed the food here. And an excellent seafoodchowder. I would rate this higher had it not been for being unrested staying here due to noisy neighbors and paper thin walls. We only enjoyed the restaurant, the service was excellent, the beer was cold. The food left a lot to be desired, although it was... a good meal it wasn't quite as high of quality as I expected. Dollar value was right on par as far as portion and taste go, itjust didn't leave me thinking that I would like to go back. Read more
