Reviews for Club 300 in Anoka, MN
The staff was so friendly, service was excellent. Even though they were very busy and we had to wait a bit, we didn?t mind at... all. The food was great, loved the truffle fries. It was fun to go downstairs to the bar for drinks in the speakeasy. I lovethis old building and how they have fixed it up. Will definitely be coming back. Read more
Dined here on the second night of their soft open with the new chef and format. The kitchen did a wonderful job with our steaks.... The filets we're particularly excellent. All three steaks were served slightly cooler than ordered, but the cuts were so good weenjoyed them as delivered. The setting here is upper-end fine dining, the service and atmosphere more Midwest Supper Club. WhileI enjoyed the previous incarnation of this restaurant, I appreciate the new format more. Congratulations to the owners for asuccessful transition! Read more
I really wanted to love this place after reading the great reviews and we love supporting small businesses . The ambience and... decorating was gorgeous. The drinks were great. Other than that, the food was sub par. We ordered the egg rolls, which lackedflavor. My husband ordered the snapper, which was over cooked and tough- the veggies were the best part. My food was okay- Iordered the Hot and Spicy Thai Basil with chicken; the chicken was also over cooked. The building had an ?old house? smell thatI couldn?t get past and I felt impacted the flavor of the food. We made reservations for a Friday evening and there were onlytwo other parties there, which was surprising. Our server was okay- somewhat awkward and wasn?t familiar with the menu.Unfortunately, we will not be returning and would not recommend this place to family and friends. Read more
Fine decorations and pleasant staff. Food portions are generous but flavor could be a bit mild if you ever had red curry... elsewhere . The jerk chicken pack a heated kick with a hint of sweetness. The fries was quite flavorful with the ingredientsthat was used. Read more

Great atmosphere, great food, great people! I love the way they've remodeled the space, it looks so classy in the historic... building. The menu has options for different flavors and styles depending on what you like. I ordered the pad thai withchicken and it was spot on, my companion ordered the jerk chicken, it was a half chicken (served with a side of jasmine rice)and everything was cooked perfectly and full of flavor! We started with the homemade eggrolls (highly recommend!) and endedwith dessert brought in from the local truffles and tortes cafe down the street. I love that they partner with the localbusinesses! It is great that restaurants can still open amid a pandemic and I hope they continue to see success in the future;we will be going back, much more to try yet! Read more
We had a reservation for 6:30 on a Saturday night. It took us 30 minutes from when we were sat to get the waiter to take our... drink orders and then another 20 minutes to get the drinks and order food. We ordered the prime rib, relish app, and the shrimppasta. In my opinion, the food was not worth the cost. The prime rib had huge chunks of fat, about 40% of the slice, so it wasobvious the chef doesn't do any trimming. The shrimp.pasta was very spicy. I like spice but it was very unbalanced. The relishwas too vinegary without any other flavors. Also, the only beer selection they had was only hazy IPAs, which I enjoy, but IPAsare not always the best with food and really wished they had something a little more malty ( that really annoyed me). We endedup spending $130 for middle of the road food and service.i could've spent a few dollars more in the cities and had a farsuperior meal. I've cooked in restaurants for a few years, so I understand the difficultly to please everyone, but for club300's sake, I really hope they step up their quality of food, drinks, and service. I preferred their fusion cuisine over the"meat and potatoes" menu they have now and will unlikely return. Read more
