Not impressed. Mediocre service. Small portions. No real sides with the meals. Small protein portions. Chicken burrito was all... rice and beans and had to search for the chicken. $5.25 to add one scoop of quest to top of burrito. $6.50 for chips. Flavorswere okay. Tacos were good but small. Jalapeños had beautiful decor and a great atmosphere. The owner was very polite and most helpful in choosing a tequila. My... waitress was quite attentive. I ordered El Cubano (a Cuban sandwich). Normally, I'd order a Mexican dish, but I haven't had agood Cuban sandwich since I was in Miami. This one was heavenly and at least as good as the Miami version. I would come backjust for the sandwich. Hopefully, next time I'll be able to try some Mexican food. I also sampled the Gran Centenario LeyendaAñejo tequila, but I would not recommend that. It was heavily scented with whiskey flavor. They may age their tequila in usedwhiskey barrels. Read more
Delicious happy hour at Jalapeños! Everything was so amazing, we enjoyed everything so much can?t wait for our next visit. Alcachofas Salteadas- Artichoke hearts sauteed in olive oil ???? Solomillo de Cerdo al Jerez- Porktenderloin in a sweet cream sauce The bar was packed when we arrived, around 5:40 pm. Half of our time was a loud and vibrantatmosphere and the other half was quiet and lovely. The staff was pleasant, helpful and gave us the delicious recommendation ofthe red sauce for the mussels. Superb Spanish-Mexican cuisine set in a relaxed yet classy atmosphere. There was live music when we visited for my son's... birthday and he played ' happy birthday' for us. The food was fantastic. The olive appetizer was a hit, as was the queso andfresh guacamole. No complaints, everything was delicious. Read more
Ambiance inside very friendly. But hard to find...in Home Depot plaza next to Dollar Store. Come on in. Friendly hard-working... staff. 2stars for drinks cause all ice. Not Tex-Mex but rather with Spanish flair. We are going back and also return for ahappy hour. Read more

Been coming here for a couple of years and usually show up casually dressed and have never been denied or told anything about a... "dress code " until today . In 85 degree heat I have never worn anything other then a tank top here. The host at the frontentrance was insulting the moment my foot passed the front door. we have always been kind to this establishment and tipped well.I was surprised and disappointed that during lunch hours my family would be treated so poorly. if the tank top was such an issuehe could have easily put my family in the bar area. unfortunately we will not be back.
