Reviews for Yechon Korean Restaurant in Annandale, VA
This restaurant didn?t disappoint at all. We ordered so much food and the banchan ?? was delicious! We have never seen our table... so full of things and everything so delicious. The only thing I noted was that the kimchi was young (we usually like it a bitmore fermented) so it tend to be a little saltier. Yet it was fresh and tasted homemade. Everything was delicious andflavorful. Also, in terms of service: they have call buttons (which is quite smart). They took literally minutes to serve ourfood, and if we needed anything, it was given as soon as we asked by any of the servers. Maybe they may not be on top of us tosee if the food was good, but they were quick to come whenever we pushed the button or called them. At the end, they evenbrought us little probiotics drinks (like Yakult) which aid with digestion, which was super sweet of them. In essence: greatservice! Read more
Nice place. Food was fair. Service was weak. They gave us our food n drinks then disappeared until d check came. Maybe a... language barrier. They did not have different flavors of Soju, just plain Soju. I think this place is content with its dailysales because they have been there awhile, so they don't focus of other things to grow business. Wouldn't return. Read more
The food was great - fresh and flavorful. Tables weren't too close together but it was hard to hear people at our own table.... There was a large official delegation there when we went, which may have accounted for the slow service and missing items fromour order. I'd still return to give them another chance. Read more
Old school Korean restaurant with great service and good food. There were many Koreans dining. Nice banchan selection given but... the kimchi was exceptionally salty to the point I couldn't really eat it and the sesame oil for the beansprouts must have gonestale. I especially liked the watercress and stewed potato though. The cold spicy noodles were delicious but I could have donewithout the rather tasteless beef and pear. The dumplings I didn't love. The Galbi-tang my friend had was nice - the short ribswere very tender. Loved the mackerel but it was too salty and we were super thirsty after the meal cause of it. Read more
Good food but you can tell customer service is not their priority any ways I ordered chicken yakisoba with noodles I asked to... hold the onions and peppers the lady told me it would just be broccoli and looked at me like I was crazy? than brought out thishuge plate with 6 pieces of broccoli and when I asked if I could get more she looked at me like I was crazy again.. and said shewould ask .. when she came out she addressed my date not me and said we cannot give more broccoli . Not even a option to buymore first time here and well never come back. Read more
I?d definitely come here for Korean side dishes! Free refills and you get a variety. The portion sizes of the dishes are... smaller, but adequate. Very flavorful overall for dishes containing meat and seafood, but I?d stay away from sushi and dishescontaining octopuses as they don?t taste so fresh. Read more
Had an excellent dinner here! It was crowded when we came in, but we were able to grab a window seat when we got there. There is... a bell system, so you can just press the button when you are ready to order or have questions. Waitress was attentive andfriendly. Highly recommend everything we got including the bulgogi and sushi. Banchan was plentiful and delicious too! Read more
Excellent food. The bathrooms are also very clean. The menu has a lot to offer for those interested in testing their palette.
