Yesterday I went to Taco Sam and ordered the Burris Tacos which were delicious, Tamales which my husband wasn?t a fan, Al pastor... which was ok and they charge for to go food? I don?t understand if you go into a restaurant for take out why would They chargecharged for a takeout container? That?s the only reason I gave 3. If I was. Got the Korean fusion tacos and they were AMAZING!! All the meats are very flavorful. Happy hour has two menus one is 50% off... and 30% off. Drinks are ok, it's a bit sweet. Highly recommend going for the Korean fusion tacos! Our waiter remembered all ofour orders. Would definitely come again. Read more
I?ve tried their fajitas and chicken burrito, and they are quite tasty! Their happy hour?s? are pretty nice too it?s from 4-8pm... it allows for those of us who work to get there in time to enjoy a couple of drinks on the low. It?s the only place in the DMVthat?s knows how to make a proper Michelada for those of us who know you will notice the difference ? none of that Bloody Marynonsense. Read more
Tacos were fantastic and could be ordered individually. The Korean pork belly is excellent and worth a try. The tacos are made... and delivered rather fast. Now the happy hour drink specials and whiskey / bourbon selection is amazing. There is Buffalo Trace,Blantons, Wellers, Eagle Rare and even Old Rip Van Winkle. The Bourbon Smash cocktail was awesome and the half price pours weregreat. Will definitely return for another happy hour. Read more
The staff are friendly, the portions are good for the price. I got three tacos and it was perfectly filling. You get chips and... salsa as well. You also get a red salsa sauce and green salsa sauce for the tacos. I preferred the Red. Read more
Extremely average tacos. We ordered grilled shrimp, spicy shrimp, cod, spicy pork, and the pork belly. The spicy pork was very... spicy. Pork belly was bland/dry and could use more sauce. Cod could also use more sauce as there was little/no flavor. Shrimptacos were probably the best ones. Claims to be korean-mexican fusion but didn't taste much Korean flavor. All tacos have corntortillas , but they only put one tortilla on the taco and they rip easy. We also got chips and salsa and the salsa was fullyrelying on red onion for flavor. Good happy hour drink deals, lasts from 4-8. Local draft beers were like ~$3. I got the mangomargarita ($6hh) and it was very average, rim was chamoy. Plenty of indoor seating, not too busy, staff wear masks. Vegetarianoptions was limited to bibimbap. Mexican coke available. Read more
All four of us enjoyed our lunches - Spicy Pork and BulGoKi tacos, Ssam Box with BulGoKi, Tamale, and Burrito. But the Ssam... Ramen with Spicy Pork was the dish we all want to go back for. Read more
The tacos are delicious! My favs are the spicy shrimp (love the sauce), spicy pork, and galbi tacos. There are three sauces... available. Happy hour from 4-8pm has decent drink options. I liked the frozen mango daiquiri. Ssam ramen is also flavorful! Read more
