Had to try this place since it was Halal and it did not disappoint. Had the beef bimbop with yum yum sauce and it was a mix of... so many unique flavors, you have to try it out. Portions were nice and large, seating was sleek and clean and the owner was niceto ask us if we needed anything. Definitely coming back! 10/10 Read more

We were looking for something new and different. One of the family members has a thing for Bibimbop. I have been told several... times that the only place to get the best Bibimbop was a place in Washington DC. A family member suggested we give Loopy's atry. The venue was close by, so we stopped in for a bite. Looking at the menu there did not seem to be a huge selection. Therestaurant is somewhat small but has a cozy atmosphere. Jazz music was being streamed at the time which was quite pleasant.Quite a few folks were picking up take out so the food must be good. We ordered Summer Rolls, Beef Bibimbop with Yum Yum sauceand a side of Pickled Daikon Radish, Spicy Pork Platter with vegetable fried rice and I chose tiger sauce. The platter camewith a salad and you get to choose aside. I chose kimchi (medium spicy). The person taking our order was very friendly andexplained the different options and did not rush us through for the order. I was told the Bibimbop was amazing and better thanthe restaurant in Washing DC. The fried egg made it amazing. The Spicy port Platter was absolutely delicious. The rice andsalad were equally delicious. The Summer rolls were amazing. I am a fan of those. There are huge with crispy vegetables andshrimp. The vegetables have been marinaded and are fantastic. I am not sure what the sauce is that comes with it (possiblysesame sauce) but very good. During our meal, the same person who took our order came by to ask if everything was ok and if weneeded anything. Great customer service which is very much appreciated. The food was so delicious that we order some take-outfor the next days' lunch. We ordered another Bimbibop but this time with Shrimp and yum yum sauce. I've been to Loopy's a couple times and it doesn't disappoint. The store is always clean and staff follow covid protocol.... Recently, I grabbed a bulgogi rice bowl and it hit the spot perfectly. The sweet potato tempura was hot and fresh and the friedrice was well seasoned. Bulgogi was delicious and generously portioned. The sauces really pull everything together - spicy mayoand yum yum sauce. Another plus is they serve halal chicken and beef, but they also serve pork at the restaurant. I got the lunch special, spicy pork bulgogi bowl. So the positives are it tastes and looks homemade which I love and it?s not... sweet. I hate bulgogi that is sweet. The man who took my order was very kind and relaxed during the order. I didn?t have anywait issues. It felt like it came out in less than 5 minutes but it was fresh and hot so I know it might?ve been a bit longer.Had plenty of meat. It was only 4 stars for me as my favorite spicy bulgogi is elsewhere ... in a Korea town ... in a differentstate. Glad I got a good local place in the area. Read more
Highly recommend this restaurant. The food is excellent and portions are generous. Customer service is top-notch and they offer... a stamp card which is nice. The interior is spacious and clean and there is ample parking at the Bradlick shopping center (theyare located near ABC and Gold?s Gym). Everything I?ve tried so far has been great. I just had the tacos this visit and ate thembefore I could get a photo. They allow you do choose different meats for the 3 taco options so I got the beef, spicy pork, andshrimp.
