The perfect Anna Maria Island location to take in the full Gulfside beach experience. We were fortunate to get a beachfront... table for late lunch in the soft white sand, and the overall ambiance of open air dining was wonderful. Our server wasincredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and there was even a perfectly placed professional grade sandcastle near the shorelinefor amazing photos just beyond our table, absolutely beautiful at aunset. The food quality was excellent with perfectlyunderstated Southern flair (especially enjoyed the coarse ground cheese grits--they did not skimp on the cheese or flavor, hugefan of properly seasoned grits!!!) and the cocktails were all well balanced. Free valet parking was also a nice touch. We willdefinitely be returning on our next Gulf Coast visit! Read more

Fun place. Literally right on the beach. Outstanding views. Perfect for watching the sunset. Great cocktails, food was very... good. We have been told the wait for dinner can be very long, but we had no wait for lunch. We will definitely go back. Read more

Insanely beautiful restaurant - I was here 8 years ago and now again and am still thrilled. The food is good, but not absolutely... stunning. Fresh and delicious. But what is absolutely insane about this restaurant is the atmosphere. Eating here in theevening, feet in the sand and watching the sunset is just indescribably beautiful. If you are on AMI, you should definitely haveexperienced this once. However, the waiting time is quite long and you should bring enough time while waiting for a free table. However, it is absolutely worth it! Read more

Wonderful atmosphere with outdoor beach seating. Great sunset views too! Weekend brunch was wonderful! The BEST sticky buns... ever. Think croissants meet cinnamon buns + gooey maple/caramel sauce. We had a sight service issue but would still go back andhighly recommend! Read more

Views are great. Ordered the NY strip with peppercorn sauce. Awesome! Cole slaw was average, fries were good. Chocolate cake... didn't have enough chocolate flavor in the frosting. Key lime pie was good but needed more flavor. Caesar salad with chicken wasgood, but basic. Hard to mess up a salad. Server was pretty good and nice, but didn't know some things when asked Read more

We do our own version of a food & drink Crawl on the Ann Marie Island. Park at Manatee Public Beach. Catch the free Shuttle to... the Pier at Bean Point and walk back. We hop off the beach to grab Drinks and food at the establishments along the way. It'sabout 5 - 6 miles back. The Sandbar Restaurant is a must stop on the way and on the beach. Good drinks and the ambiance isawesome. Read more

Amazing beach bar! The place is literally on the beach, you can eat directly on chairs on the sand watching an incredible... sunset. The food is fabulous, with a wide variety of seafood and fish, and the most varied starters to try differentoptions. The attention is incredible, all very helpful and always ready to help and answer any questions. The atmosphere is verygood too, with a store to buy souvenirs of the place, an internal bar and the external sector slightly lit with lamps to eatalmost in the light of the sunset sun. Highly recommended to visit Read more
