Our first visit and it quickly became a favorite that we cannot wait to visit again. We stopped by for breakfast/brunch,... delighted to see a variety in the menu options. There were great coffee and tea options as well, though we didn\'t give those atry today. Equally delightful was the atmosphere. There is a variety of seating options, and tables are spaced apart enough toprovide a feeling of openness, even when there was a heavy crowd. The staff was just as great, friendly amd cheerful. This place was fantastic! We were met by the manager who was very friendly and gave us great instructions on how to order and... sent us to the counter. Ordering with easy I especially liked the water selection? Sparkling was delicious and I typically don?tsay that about water! We liked the playing card We were given to set on our table. The food came in a timely matter and waspresented nice and tasted delicious. The Restaurant was clean as well as the bathrooms. All and all a great experience\nWoulddefinitely go again! Read more
I had breakfast here while in town for a business trip. The food was really good quality. I got the ancient grain bowl which was... surprisingly only about 30% yogurt and 70% green. It was nice to see a place be heavy handed with the more expensiveingredients. I am only giving four stars because I found it a little bit obnoxious that as a customer at the checkout screenprompt you to tip with a suggested tipping amount of 20%. However, you get your own menus, see yourself, go get your own drinksfrom the drink bar and need to go back up to the bar for anything else you need. It?s pretty much a self-service location, andit is absolutely wonderful at what it does. However I think prompting customers to tip when no dining services being providedit?s pretty silly. I also found that if you do take out a prompt you with the same exact screen. It seemed odd to expect or askfor customers to tip when they are not even dining in at the location and no delivery service has been performed either. All ofthat said, the food was phenomenal, the ingredients they are very good quality, and the young lady at the checkout desk was verykind. Absolutely loved this restaurant! The decor is phenomenal and the staff was super nice and helpful. Everything we ordered was... amazing and we can\'t wait to go back! We went for breakfast but now we need to try the lunch menu. Such a fun spot. Read more
If you?re in Ann Arbor or Chicago and you want some bomb a** food you have to go to Stray Hen Cafe.\n\nThe breakfast menu is... everything you need and more. Sweet and or savory, large portion sizes, overall just amazing.\n\nThe lunch menu has healthydelicious options that are absolutely divine also great portion sizes.\n\nMy friends and I started going there after the newyear and we crave it weekly.\n\nThe staff is phenomenal. They?re outgoing, extremely helpful, kind and energetic. By far halfthe reason why we keep coming back.\n\nBrennan has always been such a ray of sunshine walking through the front door. Very nice interior, though it was crowded when I went (a Sat morning). Friendly greeter and staff. Food came on time and was... tasty. Coffee was underwhelming though, and i realized there was a certain hidden charge (service?)\n\nOverall, was a nice cafe,and will be back! Read more
Definitely the place to be for brunch!\nMy party and I waited in line for about 30-40 minutes before ordering, but this was no... issue when our food came out 5-10 minutes later! Speedy service and frequent check-ins.\nI was excited at first, seeing waitersgo by with massive plates of food - stacks of pancakes and thick slices of French toast. When I waited in line everything seemedto be worth the price... until I was served my toast. Though topped with fresh ingredients, it was small, underwhelming, and notworth the $10+.\nWould suggest anything but the toasts on the menu, worth the price. Read more
